Are folk getting subbed on and off every time it stops?

The teams are mostly split into defensive and offensive units. They bring on whatever one's needed at the time. Same with kickers. He does **** all game until he needs to kick. Must be a great job.

It's not so bad if you include the suburbs of KC, Kansas does have the richest county in the country that's all suburbs of the city.

I only meant shitty in terms of size compared to the big boy.

I got into college a wee bit. Saturday night viewing was a nice touch. College football is mental but thrilling. First game I watched, a team was 35-0 up after 1 quarter.

Only thing I really need to try and learn is the draft. Never really understood how the draft works at all in US sports.

That would never happen in the professional ranks, as witnessed by us "holding" Cleveland to 28-0 after 1. 😩

The whole tam will change - if your not in possession you are defending and will not have the "offence" team with the QB on the pitch.

I'm supporting Tampa, because their theme park at least gave me free beer

Fair enough.  We all have our price. 😆

That's fair, it is a tiny little portion of it in Kansas. Wouldn't think it though by the way we talk about it being the best city ever.

Superbowl trivia - I used to work with a guy (English) called Aikman who was a distant cousin of the great Troy Aikman.

Aikman is an old Scottish name.

Don't know who H.E.R. is, but her pre-match performance was aesthetically pleasing. There's not enough guitar playing birds in low cut tops.

Folks in the Bible Belt must've been getting a bit hot under the collar.

I can't remember ever being this confused watching a game of something.  Far too stoned to understand.

Why do they keep having breaks and back to the studio? Is that normal?

Roughly 24 years ago we visited, wife and I aren't huge theme park fans but did Florida for the kids. I drove to every other theme park but knew about the Bud link up so arranged a taxi.

American tv. The tv ad slots are worth huge money.

Superbowl TV adverts are the most prized & expensive. ALL the money in the game comes from TV. So..... LOADS of adverts.

Normal most games, there is a timer the team has until they have to play the ball and they make the most of it for tactical talks on the sidelines before every play.

They had it when I went on 06 but was gone by the time I was there in whatever year Stevenson scored the screamer at ER.

Oh yes @Riddley Walker we also have the halftime show which is about an hour for a 20min performance...

😁

Apparently the stage is in one of the stands so no massively impressive technical crew work for geeks like me.

A flat Matthew Mcconaughey advertising 3d doritos followed by Will Ferrel advertising something else. I am having to watch this with no sound as Mrs F is watching Bridgerton

Have the BBC made a special effort to make the coverage  as boring as possible?

The set is horrendous and Chapman is so dull paint watches him dry.

“Sometimes they run a play” that is the best analysis I have ever heard....
