Mate, i've been wrongly called a hobo about 300 times. I can't remember calling you one (i rarely do that) but get over it.

There is another magic trick, you are turning out to be the Paul Daniels of kickback.

How do you perform the trick of forgetting someone online calls you a vermin, liberty taker. Then goes onto defend their own position.

You forgot nothing, why you lying as well.

How come i remember it then, oh wait a minute because i lost the rag lead to me getting another ban.

Sure i get it is my own fault, you though are pushing the innocent button hard.

You get over whatever it is that you're suffering here.

Remember it vividly. Similar to the Suso pen in 2012 but on the other side of the goal and at the opposite end of the box.

Mines was an Ajer handball from a hard hit cross. I don’t know if we got it because I woke up in a sweat at that point. I’ll try and dream it tonight again and stay calm. Will let you know. Big Zal was playing !

Quick question guys. Who takes our penalties now?

It depends on the score.

If it's still close then Boyce. If we're up by four or more I'd like to see Gordon given the chance to get on the score sheet against his former club.

Bazzas right boot

FFs, Ofc we can win if we concede first or concede the first 2 or 3.

How many  times in Glasgow have we came from a goal behind to win in 30 years tho?

I'm gonna say no more than 5 times.

I'll also say, when it's happened it's been v Celtic 👍

We are playing Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden and the referee is John Beaton.

Does that answer your question?

The loss of the first goal can throw the shackles off, or result in panic and further loss. Still think.the team is a bit fragile mentally so, yes, opening goal.would help so !ong as it doesn't result in caution after it. Balancing  act. Time to seize the day. Chances.

I seem to remember someone saying losing the first goal takes away the fear of losing the first goal. The ONLY way we have a chance is to get stuck in from the first whistle. They can't handle teams that attack. Allow them to waltz up to and beyond the half way line and the game is lost.

TBF this is the first ( and I hope the last ) cup final I can't get interested in. The whole thing is a farce to allow Celtic to claim a fake record.

Having said that I will be glued to the TV hoping we can upset them.

First cup final in years where we have a selection headache. The last few times it’s been a case of just having 11 players fit to start!

This is not an occasion for being fearful of this, that or the next thing.

This is an occasion for stout Hearts, and resolute minds.

Hearts must set out to seize the day from the off, being aware of the strengths and dangers of the opposition, but more than anything concentrating on the game plan, with each man acutely aware of his role.

They are there to be beaten, without the influence of their large fan backing and still a bit vulnerable after some recent lapses.

There's nothing to fear but fear itself.

Calebs Grandad

We annihilate them 5-1, Brown red carded, Lennon banished into the stands, half a dozen green brigade storm the stadium fighting stewards and police then Humza Yousaf tries to introduce a Celtic Hate Bill making it illegal for any media outlet or opposition supporters to laugh at his club.

Thank god for Alex Scott on FF. Thought Celtic were playing Rangers tomorrow

You’re right.

I was just starting to shout at the tv when she reminded those 2 plonkers that Hearts were in the final too, and with a wee chance of winning.

Good position to be in for a change

There's going to be at least one player feeling they should be starting that's ending up on the bench

Traditionally we have been fantastic at holding them back with a view to hitting them on the break, this ploy has brought us many successful encounters against this mob and tends to work exceptionally well....................right up until we lose the first goal at about 20 minutes.....loosing a second before half time as we chase the game.  A final score of around 3-5 goal defeat with the occasional consolation goal given our brave performance with our usual “ah well it’s Celtic”.......well nah, not for me.  INTY THUM from the off.

He can do that job, Irving has to play as he is the one that can open up them up with his range of passing.

correct. People will say they're scared of losing but in reality that just means they're scared of winning.

'mon Hearts let's do this. Go out and play to win

I put up a wild card side earlier in this thread.

with Irving Lee and Halliday operating  around Pete.

Imo that's our strongest line-up and we should hit them with it from the outset.  Harass them all over the park and don't let up.

We will do this.

Spot on.  It’s about work, work , work, on and off the ball. Being switched on and keeping any lapses to a minimum. The only way we’ll swing pressure back onto Celtic is making them realise , that from the first whistle, they are playing a team who believe they can win.

They’ve made a few personel changes to freshen the team up and that’ll work one of two ways. They’ll come into the game thinking they’ll walk it, or facing a fired up Hearts from the start could seed some doubt into their minds.

The latter MUST be our approach.  If I see that overrated we p***k Christie dancing about untouched I’ll probably explode.  😁

Christie will be falling down on a regular basis with no-one near him and 'winning' lots of fouls. Him and Beaton will make sure that happens

Plenty lovely skooshing moments to treasure, Sean Clare makes a nice sound at the rathole.

Have a browse sort yourself out with some, get them ready pre match .

Sorted. There is a lot of choice, if you fancy some mad stuff.

I will be watching re runs of the 1956 Scottish cup final from around 12 tomorrow.
