Struggling on the formation. 352? Is Moore the right wing back, white left wing back and frear a #10?

4-4-1-1 I think

Those who know a lot more than me about football might be able to tell me the benefits of us trying to play 3 at the back but every time I see it happen we don’t look as comfortable.

Its a wee bit messy. Can be a difficult formation to play well most of the time, nevermind playing 352 with an experimental lineup.

It’s essentially only really useful when teams play 2 up front, as there is a centre back who is spare and can just win the ball / build from the back etc

At least their seems to be more of a sense of urgency...

Headless chickens.

A lot of urgency but no football being played whatsoever.

Why bother with them then?

It's a fair point though, I don't know the answer. Playing at our level, I'd expect us to have at least 2 or 3 from our first 11 to come from the academy.

No idea what the answer is. I suppose you have to have some sort of youth set up and keep trying to improve it. Very few clubs seem to consistently find good first team players from it though.

Could do with a decent centre mid who can control the game.

This. We pass it around the back nicely then resort to kicking it long

No one should be surprised. It is a brutal 11 out there.

Definitely.  Keep in just giving the ball away, nice play by Wighton on the break though

3-5-2 with a back 3 of Brandon, Haring and Kingsley.

Agree that's what I have seen. Brandon done well so far.
