I propose 2 options

1) Red sauce is for children and women

2) I'm a deviant

You're not a deviant, you just have working taste buds.

Ah shit, i'm supposed to be neutral when making a thread like this.

Feck it.  If you put ketchup on a bacon roll you deserve a jail sentence.

Seriously either is fine by me but brown usually wins

Always brown on a mince pie mind you

Red sauce on a bacon roll is highly suspicious, deviant behavior.

Butter is the only sensible option.

This topic has been done to death on here.
And quite correctly brown sauce always wins.
And don’t even talk about when Robbo did his JKB online Q&A and his choice was mayonnaise. The first time he ever let me down.

Either spoils a perfectly good combination of roll and bacon...with perhaps a touch of butter on the roll

Mayo is decent on a bacon roll, ahead of red every day of the week . Brown is best though.

Mayonnaise 😂😂

Maybe he was getting it confused with a BLT.

Noubt wrong with letting the bacon cool down and slapping lettuce tomato and mayo on there.

More specifically, mustard yellow sauce. I call it mustard for short.

Or shot. Brown sauce on bacon. It's in the Magna Carta or something.

It's the very basis of Scots law as I understand things.

Is correct. Mostly brown, but occasionally you just fancy a bit ketchup.

Broon sauce on bacon. It absolutely has to be Daddies and the bacon has to be smoked. If there's no Daddies then it needs to be eaten as is, or with a runny poached egg and possibly a couple of splashes of a very hot sauce.

Broon or yellow, red sauce is for bairns.

Trust me on this.

Both!!!

70-30 split in favour of Brown but a little red on it along with majority brown is amazing.

Brown or none...

red is too sweet for a salty thing like bacon.

Posted

HP sauce....  Preferably smoked bacon, streaky if possible......    😕

Smokey bacon on a buttered roll

Nae sauce required

It has to be said that the importance of a proper roll can't be overlooked.

If you were to think of the bacon as a penis, then you'll understand that it wants to be enveloped in something soft and warm.

So these dense, almost brick like rolls can beat it. It should be a proper bakers roll. Soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Failing that, a nice soft morning roll. Might as well put tartare sauce on it if you get the roll wrong.

You are very welcome

On a related note. Red sauce with square sausage absolutely. Broon just doesn't work there.

Also, everyone talking about proper breakfast rolls has reminded me of something else you can't get in Texas. Ask for rolls, get offered hamburger sesame seed nonsense. Get yourself to **** mate. Guess I'm having a bacon piece instead.

Also also, the American missus is partial to a bacon piece (and Gregg's sausage rolls, and macaroni pies for that matter). So I guess there might be hope for them after all

Is this question even necessary? What sort of deviant considers putting ketchup on a bacon roll?

2 rolls

1 with tomato

1 with hp

You're missing something there. Square sausage topped with a round haggis. With broon. Red sauce doesn't get a look in then.
