Last year at the same time he was saying for months beforehand he was looking for players, if he said that then why lie this year? You may eventually be right but that does not mean we've not tried (and failed) to get someone in or at least made inquiries. Career appears to be in reverse It would definitely be a strange signing. He looked very good in his first season at Motherwell but didn't reach anywhere the same heights after that.
