It’s not improving football what England are doing to themselves.

By all means try to play the right way but do it when it’s the right time.

True but we know we’re average and I’d much rather be Scottish!

Where is this game being played? I feel sorry for that City because it’ll be getting smashed up tonight by the sore losers.

Is Sterling autistic?  Serious question, I’m yet to see him make eye contact when he’s speaking to folk.

I don't think we've said we're going to win anything since 1978!

That lot are at it just about every time, until the crunch comes.  No doubt that will all change when English football starts under WTO rules - the answer to everything, we're told.

Actually, England's football team reminds me of the Tory Party - self-destructing shambles.

Four goals and three of them were from passing it out from the back. Maybe we shouldn’t moan so much about our style of football!!!

England are shite man. Worst fans in the world too, hopefully the locals lock everything up and not too much damage is done tonight.

Also just goes to show the small margins in sport.  Lingard is half a foot offiside, that goal stands England probably win, confidence through the roof etc.

instead it’s offside and now they are questioning their whole style of play.

small Margins indeed

If you have the players to do it then crack on.

I know!

I’m just not ‘into’ this slagging off England and her players ‘just for the sake of it’.

I am, they are the Hibs of International football to me.

Roond them. right roond them.

To be fair Neville was making the point that tonight the conditions were friendly for England tonight and that heat was no excuse

So, we’ve gone here from the football score to the hooligans?

Why the tact change?

So what’s the point in playing?

Just determines who’s 3rd or 4th like the World Cup. Pointless really.

When you've got De Bruyne, Silva x 2, Fernandinho etc coming short to dig you out of the shit every game, the flaws of Stones are less obvious.

If you have Barkley, Walker, Dier & Maguire next to you...

Are you secretly Gary Neville?  He just said that almost verbatim!

Not for me I'm afraid, domestically Hibs are our rivals and |I wish them nothing but misery. Internationally England wear that hat.

For the record I am not a rabid nationalist who hates all things English, purely football/sport.

Pretty demoralising really. Sorry for sounding like a certain poster from Hamilton but I’m still trying to get my head around the nations league.

John Stones needs to find a club where he plays every week. Needs that constant pressure to up his standards and cut out the mistakes. Wasting away at Man City.

Good to see the Dutch do well. Could be a cracking final on Sunday 7.45pm. England v Switzerland is 2pm.

Just pleased that the Sevco fans there in their Engerlund shirts and singing songs about the Pope were disappointed.

Yeah, England got the benefit of a couple of dodgy decisions in the group games. They don't get them then they are bottom of their section and mixing it with Scotland ext time around.

Huge reality check for all the English fans who think they’re on the verge of world domination. You didn’t need to be a tarot reader to see this fall from grace coming.

No , but if like me you are led by water , you could sense the goal was offside , and if you didn’t you don’t understand football for that was the litmus test. When you sense it so clearly you barely pay attention to the finish and you go to make a cuppa while they celebrate and don’t raise even a slight gaze toward the tv from the kitchen part of your dark dank studio basement flat...
