Vanecek has signed a contract with Hearts that starts in January next year (2019). So Vanecek is definitely coming and unless Laffery agrees a new contract he will be leaving. Either at the end of the season or sooner if an acceptable bid is received. Probable best case scenario is possibly having both Vanecek and Lafferty as options as well as MacLean and Uche, plus Naismith and the young guys like Keena, Zanata and Currie all available for the run in to the title race in second half of the season next year.
