Victorian
Even the notion of measuring supposed national power by associating military power to the areas of commerce, sport and the monarchy is absolutely insane. It's like some deranged version of Top Trump cards. UNITED KINGDOM Monarch. German/Greek. Quite old. Married twice. 1 or 2 sons. 3/10. Prime Minister. British/American/Indian. Very rich. Richer wife. Adidas trainers. 1/10. Football team. Holds world record of number of times favourites to win tournaments. Not great at penalties. 2/10. Business & Commerce. Various free trade deals of no value whatsoever. Exports money and refugees. 1/10. Military. Compact army. Occasional navy. No bad air power when navy occasionally out and about. Nuclear capability in theory. 4/10.

I've seen some interesting comments about the timing of the events being the most important (and so far, ignored) aspect of this case : it has to do with legislation that was recently passed that made sending dick pics a criminal offence. Lots of comments saying this is why he isn't being suspended - he'd be subject to a full enquiry and this would likely be exposed. Looks like we'll never know the truth of it now, but make no mistake, he was no ordinary MP so for him to "chuck it it" is very significant . Just a wee note for added clarity. There's two elements to this result. The bigger seems to be that the Rwandan government have figured that the UK will never get round to sending vast numbers of migrants on to Rwanda, so they're not going to need those buildings for the migrants. The second one is the suggestion that Braverman, Notso and anyone else involved in getting the 'scheme' this far haven't catered for a clawback of the money in the event of them arsing it up. Much the same as when they announced they'd be "pushing back" the boats in the channel. It would be beyond embarrassing if the number is dwarfed by Rwanda's ? Spun as a positive because the BoE can perhaps now reduce the interest rates due to a contracting of the job market and therefore a slowing of wage increases?
