Good move for Ibby, suspect we could well see him playing in the EPL in a few years

Was a really good player when he wanted to be and at a proper club with proper management suspect he could become a very very good EPL Class centre half

I suspect he'll never get near the EPL.

I'm with Pancer (oddly enough :) )

Ibby is class and much too good for us. I wish him well

Out of interest, if Ibby scored 3 in 39 games, does that make him a more prolific goalscorer than Clum? Maybe we should have tried him up front.

Ibby was deadly with his head

He is definitly the sort of player you would send up front late on in vital games or for set plays

Great move for Ibby, hope he does well.

A cup winner who could have been so much better for us.

Still like his goal against Rangers but remember him fondly as an excellent last-ditch tackler.

Hope he does well.

We couldn't justify the wage he was being paid - but who at HMFC could?

Ibby and Karapidis would have been my 1 - 2 at centre half.

All the best Ibby. Quality centre-half and a Scottish Cup winner to boot.

Hope he does really well.

I liked him, he played at 100% in games. King of the last gasp block tackle.

And he had a pink car.

Good luck to him. Thanks to Burley and Rix he never got a chance to show what might have been, though he usually impressed when given a chance.

or Vladimir Romanov?

I thought he was a Vlad signing. Which was the reason Burley didn't play him. And for Rix he didn't show enough in training, like Calum did.

Just goes to show you why folk like me and you are just fans, and the people who have an eye for talent like Rix and Shaggy get the top jobs!

5 in 47 was Ibbys final total.

Father Tiresias

He is a better defender than Berra.

He is a better defender than Zalclueless.

He is a better defender than Neilson.

He is a better defender than Concalves.

He is a better defender than Wallace

And so so........

Yet another of our good players heads for the Tynecastle one-way revolving door. Never mind, it's 10 grand a week of the wage bill!! ;)

Good luck Ibby!!

He's probably (definitely) a better forward than Clum

He's probably a better forward than Mole

He's probably a better manager than Frail

He's probably a better manager than Vlad

Bye Ibster! :mw_confused::wave1::cry::clap:

A far, far better player than Berra.

He's also older, i'm pretty confident Berra will go on to have a far more impressive career.

People seem to forget that Berra is still a young guy who's been given too much responsibility too soon. He should still be learning from an experienced centre half and captain like Pressley

For some reason this has left me feeling extremely angry and cheated, which is nothing compared to how I'll feel when the truth comes out about Tall's treatment, I'm sure

Sorry to see him go. Thanks Vlad. You Erse.

Would that be the same Vlad who signed him in the first place, without the manager's agreement?

You can't have it both ways.

My best wishes go to him.

Always looked a decent player when played in the right position. Which was not a lot with the dross we have had as a manager.

He showed some real promise in some games, he should never have been played in the centre mid. I think it was to accommodate Zaliukas. Hope he does well.

Aye, best of luck to Ibby. A cult hero of recent seasons IMO. There aren't many of them.

Good luck Ibby, good player at a badly managed club.

Not at all.

Was one of the best defenders at the club if not the best IMO.

Nelly Terraces

We shoulda sold him last summer and got a fee for him.

Wastad cash yet again, as with the transfer fee and the his wages for a year don't make up for the amount of games played this season and although he is a good player, I doubt if he hadn't been here it'd have made that much difference to our crap season. Very poor club management imho.
