Unfortunately the signings they've made this window appear to have only increased the gap between ourselves - they are a club back on the up. Good luck to both Aberdeen and Celtic next week. I'd hoped ourselves and Hibs could have reached the 3rd qualifying round however. I don't think we'd have progressed past Krasnodar however we weren't good enough to provide ourselves with the opportunity. Scottish football really needs a boost at the moment. Dundalk after qualifying last night for the play off stage of the Champions League will now earn at least that as they will go direct into the Europa Cup league stage even if they lose in the play off for the Champions League spot in the group stages.
