They didn't look like they were trying and still thumped them. You would expect that though. Krasnodor have a team full of internationals so 3-0 is quite a good score for a pub team like Birkirkara.

Maybe one day we will have a team full of internationals

Even if we'd managed to get past the pub outfit it would have just delayed the inevitable.

Watching the aberdeen game. They must have had about 20 chances. If you cant take your chances you deserve nothing.

Cheers. Was trying to work out if every Scottish team would be out before the season's even started.

Correct.  But it still would have been a good 'money spinner' for the club if we had progressed passed the pub team.

Good response from the sheep after the late Maribor goal.

Still hope they get pumped next week though.

Hope they get a result next week. Means they will have 2 big games with us wedged between them at home on the 13th. Would give us a slimmer of hope up there perhaps?

Am looking for more than a "slimmer of hope" irrespective of what games they have or don't have

Plus if they get through they'll only have a League Cup tie,Us then the first leg of the play off round.

Don't think Aberdeen will go through.

If they do, what sort of opponent could they get?

Have to say the Sheep are looking really strong going on tonight's display. That Stockley lad they've signed is going to be a big player for them. Would have taken him over Sammon plus he won't be on nearly as high a wage. Unfortunately the signings they've made this window appear to have only increased the gap between ourselves - they are a club back on the up.

Good luck to both Aberdeen and Celtic next week. I'd hoped ourselves and Hibs could have reached the 3rd qualifying round however. I don't think we'd have progressed past Krasnodar however we weren't good enough to provide ourselves with the opportunity. Scottish football really needs a boost at the moment.

So you are in the unique position that you know the payroll, of both Hearts and aberdeen ? Do tell us.

Friendlies teams give them space and that is lethal. With time they drop it on a sixpence

Just in case anyone should want Celtic to win remember this win will net them around 7 million Euros minimum and much more if they qualify for the Champions League group stages.

Dundalk after qualifying last night for the play off stage of the Champions League will now earn at least that as they will go direct into the Europa Cup league stage even if they lose in the play off for the Champions League spot in the group stages.
