"He sounds like a ned", "he looks like Tommy McLean". Quite frankly who cares? The ONLY thing that matters is his record as a manager. And that stands up very well against any of the other candidates being discussed. I'm afraid we're not in a position to be as picky as some people seem to think. If we don't move fast for Davies someone else will and I think in 6 months time we'll regret it. well said ,like we are in a position right now to be fussy as to what manager we should have.
