Fridgey's songs will gather a cult following, I'm sure of it.

He's already inspired me to expand and *******ize his effort. Check your email.

Was meant to have the office to myself today...there I was all excited about having WHNC on as I 'work'.

But no, the secondee appears. And he's a hibby. Lovely guy but chances are he might not appreciate my idea of background entertainment. Then I find I've forgotten my earphone thingies too.

Sigh. DAY RUINED.

Motion to make Fridgey a permanent feature?

No offence to other guests, who are also superb, but Fridgey episodes have me in stitches.

Fridgey's song contributions... I love the man.  He's getting quite a cult following himself.

Had the honour of being on the bus to Inverness when the McKay songs were born.  A tremendous day for songwriting.

Great work guys.

At what point do players get the chance to have a second set of songs written about them?  I understand why you couldn't do Pallardo this week, but do you wait one week?  A month?  Got a feeling some players will deserve an extensive back-catalogue by the end of the season

You're suggesting a level of planning and forward-thinking far beyond what actually takes place.

The lad makes a good point. I've got "Alim - The Album" gathering dust here :-)

Every member of the squad will get a song. Or at least that was the original intention!

Just so happens that so far all who have got one have deserved one!

Hope you're all looking forward to Angus Beith getting one in April for warming up better than anyone else...

Can't wait until we get an Adam and Joe's Song Wars style album

(i've been humming AfroMan all day long)

Speaking of Afroman, and to the tune of 'then I got high'

Hearts are gonnie win the league, because of McKay

The Huns will cry themselves to sleep, because of McKay

Fat Sally's gettin fisted and I know why, heh heh, because of Mckay, because of Mckay, because of McKay

It was Pallard? last week.

Proper We Have No Cares men know this.

:embarassed: I must stop listening to it when I'm half cut.  Thought it was Gomis last week, but that was the week before!

Currently listening as i'm eating my lunch.  I just choked on yogurt at "wondering who the malnourished child running around in front of him was"

Genius!

That could become Fridgey's catch phrase on WHNC.  He could be your equivalent of Rowley Birkin QC on the Fast Show ("I'm afraid I was very, very drunk"!)

Pretty sure that was Mr. Walker.... the drunkest man alive post-match.

My dad particularly liked the moment you repeated, for the hard of hearing, your thoughts on Kenny Miller.

My mum, less so.

We need another Mr Bowie sing a long!

Mr. Bowie has raised the bar quite considerably.

He's the antithesis to Fridgey. Two great men with two completely different song-writing styles.

I smell a spin-off.

Another wee bump before the weekend for anyone who hasn't listened to the 140 years of unbroken Rangers Fistory episode yet.

Will be recording the Celtic episode on Sunday night so it'll most likely come out late Sunday night/Monday morning.

I can't remember if I mentioned this already but whilst still in the pub after the Raith game I was swithering whether to go with either 'Gomis in Blue Jeans' or some sort of falsetto take on Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights'.

Paul McCartney's "So Bad" was also in my thoughts too.

Would say, at Falkirk, there was a group saying your Brad McKay song.

To be honest, if that song is to be my legacy then I'll be absolutely delighted.

I think it's the only thing I'll ever achieve.

It's tough write songs about a guy you know literally nothing about.

Since then I've learned he's from Blantyre. And is almost certainly a massive Rangers fan.

My song could've been enhanced by these facts, I'll have to research sooner next time like.

I'll be using it to cheer me up on my bus trip to work tomorrow morning. I'm always interested to hear some beard chat, especially after seeing this today.
