Could not disgree anymore

He is solid and tries to win every ball

he is the only person out their that appears to try

put him with 10 good players and just watch the cream rise to the top

anyone who knows me on here knows I have absolutely NOTHING positive to say

But I will tell you this - this boy is good..very good!

Fair enough, lets just hope

a) he's still here next season

and

B) we actually sign some decent players to play alongside him!!!!

PS i would go for Colin Cameron personally ;)

David Bowman would add a bit of steel to the puff's that currently play in our midfield, thats for sure.

Cameron Hartley McKay Bowman Flogel

Now that would be some 5 in a 4-5-1 formation.:dribble:

Clearly he isn't the best midfielder ever. As in my awards thread he gets the current award for the most overrated Hearts player. Painfully slow and so lightweight.

He has been the 5th equal best Hearts midfielder this season behind Jonsson-Driver-Miko-Stewart together with Kingston.

He will be in my greatest Hearts team the moment he steps on the park for his 1st team debut ;)

I forgot about his 'displays' this season. What has happened to No 29? Has he been seen since 'he decided' to sign a new contract?

Tomschek was better than Ruben. It shows how much even an average player like Ruben must stick out in this current Hearts team.

He'd also be better in goals than Basso in an emergency.

Sorry folks, although I'm of the Gary Mackay vintage there's no doubt that Hearts' greatest ever midfielder was the other McKay, Dave.

Skacel, Fulton, Mickey, Hartley and Colquhoun are the names the spring to mind that i have seen, a wee mention to Allan Johnston, before he buggered off on a bosman, he was a brilliant young player for us, the hat-trick at Ibrox was unbelievable.

Quality player and I always saw him more attacking mid than forward

I done this thread to cheer me up to try and think of some quality we have had, remembering all these players has put me into even more of a depression

For those us who were privileged to have seen him play - Willie Hamilton the maestro - too short a career - too short a life.
