Out of town option is the St Johns Village Inn (La Rue De La Mare Bellam, St John, JE3 4BJ) which is run by a currant bun and prioritises Scottish games on the screen behind the bar. Goz Posted April 25, 2012 Share Posted April 25, 2012 Will be at Haggerston Castle and they don't have a sports bar any more, its now a sort of restaurant with big TV's set up and although they show football the atmosphere isnt the same. I would think they would show the Championship play off rather than our Final. I recall a few years ago we had to wait until an Arsenal game finished before we were able to watch 2nd half of Falkirk v Hearts. Anyone know any pubs in Berwick area that might show our game? Snap. I'm at Haggerson Castle for the final too. They will defo be showing the game in the Barrell and Mash. I've already called them and asked. Me and the laddie will be watching it in there. If Thomsons can't amend my holiday for less than the Kings ransom they are asking for currently then I will be in here on cup final day.... My hibbie mate informed me that he has 6 hibbies joining us (this has happened before, I think he must rent a crowd). I have planned to watch the game at the queen st mall pig n whistle and I know of 2 other hearts fans that should be there. We also know a guy who works in the pub which should ensure the game is shown on the large screen. I am willing to change venues if there will be a larger contingent of hearts fans elsewhere. Game guaranteed on as my daughter is doing the bar with the landlady whose family hails from Trannet. I will be at the game but boozer will be decked out in Hearts stuff - two flags awaiting.
