This has to be two different people logging into one account.

Perhaps one is posting from his home he shares with his parents and the other is posting from the second home he bought in Linlithgow last week

So they've resorted to restraining me holding me by the arms and legs to do anything. It is horrific and only makes things worse

Who  is "they"  ?      What sort of things do  "they" do that requires you to be restrained ?     Why are you telling us about this ?

Strange thread this. If the person needs help he should find it. It's out there. If the person is being wide, I'm not sure what to say.

Have you been sectioned? People need to be trained in control & restraint before they can do any of this. Was a nurse in the Royal Ed for 15 years and i find this hard to believe.

If it was at your doctors/psychiatrists appointment i find this extremely unlikely to have happened as well. Or to the point, didnt happen.

This used to be a great thread. It genuinely surprised me. Posters id seen joking and seemingly happy then I’d see them opening up in here and it really struck me.
I hope it can get back to that.

Same here, you just never know what shit folk have going on. It's a life lesson, tbh, and one which we would do well to bear in mind when we're dishing out our pish to anonymous user names on the internet.

Admins, I’m all for people being offered the help they need and other people trying to help others but sometimes enough is enough. Reckon it’s time for one of you to intervene, for the sake of others before some people say some things that they can’t take back.

The thread is about depression which is a mental health issue.  Rudi has stated he has mental health issues so I think he finds this forum a safe place to vent his frustrations and feelings. If you find his postings frustrating maybe think more about how he must be living at this time instead of how his postings are impacting on you.   The guy is clearly going  through a very difficult time.

Doesn’t bother me, he can post as much as he wants, but there’s a few posters verging on saying some very unsavoury things.

Try playing the ball rather than the man, Chevy.

Couple that with dropping your vendetta and perhaps you’ll be able to see things more clearly.

If however, you wish to take this further, then let’s do it by PM.

Let’s not.

@rudi must stay is clearly struggling and your responses towards him and the general lack of compassion shown is downright disgusting.

God forbid you ever find yourself mentally ill.

Have you ever looked back on all the threads that @rudi must stay has started?  That’s probably a redundant question as a lot of them were removed.  Which is a shame.  You would see the many offers of help I made to him, including passing on advice from a very good friend of mine who specialises in her field as a Professor of medicine in both San Francisco and Beirut.

Don’t, for one minute, think that you can take your vendetta against me and turn it, albeit twistedly, into a point-scoring exercise.

You will lose.

Of that, have no doubt.

Morgan you are a decent poster , however the guy is clearly ill . Very ill . What does it really matter if he over posts on this thread ? Really ? If it give him some form of release well surely thats good . No one and I mean no one needs to read His numerous comments and then be irritated by them ? Surely ? I just struggle with people’s reaction to this guy . I really do .

Ok mate. I have been ill since 2015, I got a thing in my back. I went to the doctor got an x-ray nothing, went back got another which the doctor said would affect me. Severely traumatised and scared I lived life running away from everything. I decided to go back during lockdown, my flatmate left I was alone so I went back to the doctor, no questions asked she sent me to the western general. There I was alone scared and vulnerable, anyway the doctor sent me home I guess it's good he did. The reality is I recieved very poor and uncaring doctoring that has messed me up as it would anyone. To be quite frank I am not bothered if x rays weaken you I am traumatised I sit in the cars wishing nobody sees me as I feel like a freak, I can't watch films can't relate to them and the actors being healthy. My life is a nightmare. I hate doctors, my year at school is full of them smart arses who never had time for me

As for Morgan I think I'm right in saying he has told his friend I am mentally ill. Doctors enjoy playing with the mentally ill, I've seen that first hand these past three years. I used to think my Mum will be nice to me as a nurse, no she's worse than anyone. Called me a lazy ******* the other day and she's restrained me twice, she used to work in psychiatry and has all the tricks. When my Dad talks he always blocks the door little stuff like that they think I don't pick up on but I do

I got no problem with you Morgan. Sometimes you talk down to me I know that but that's fine sometimes it's funny as long as you didn't think I'm daft because of all this. It is a system where the vulnerable are quiet, the whole health system needs a shake up and the learning disabled receive better care

Cheers for that, Rudi.

If truth be told, Chevy has a problem with me and is, at the moment, using this thread as his vehicle.

Just for the record though, I never told my friend that you were ‘mentally ill’.  I purely asked her if a relatively small amount of x-rays could have caused all your problems. Her answer was a very blunt ‘no’.

She has been in attendance at literally hundreds of x-rays and was astonished at what I told her.

Keep well and take care, Rudi.

OK. thanks for these posts Rudi - they're the most coherent posts you've made on this thread,  well done. 👍

The impression I get from what you've said is that you've felt like an "outsider" even in your schooldays, and you're brain had been  telling you 2 opposing things since then -  firstly that you must actually be a "freak" (perhaps better described as having an inferiority complex) and therefore your response is to hide away from people, but at the same time you're scared because you feel alone and abandoned (because you're hiding away).

Your description of  the x-rays on your back is puzzling - your GP  at the time must have received a report from the Western General radiographers, and most likely will have communicated it to you in some way.   Are you sure you didn't receive something through the post ?     Even just a follow-up appointment ?

You said in previous posts that you have a flat somewhere - was that the address your GP at the time had for you ? Or was it your parents address ?

Are you REALLY sure that the NHS doctors & consultants you saw just abandoned you with no communication or report ?     Seems highly unlikely - as is your belief that "doctors like playing with the mentally ill"

As I've mentioned before, your fear/distrust of all people (especially those in the medical profession) is not helping your situation.   Rather than run away from it, you  desperately  need  professional help from  behavioural/psychiatric experts to try to boost your self-esteem, and to break out of the vicious cycle of blame/fear that seems to dominate your thinking.     Why not contact some of the mental health charities which deliver counselling (online or by phone, if not in person) - MIND or The Brain Charity or WheretoTalk.

You say your life is hell - but unless you change your outlook, is anything likely to change ?   Its your choice, Rudi

I tell you what I'm going to do mate. I'm going to move back to my flat. My family restraining me fearful of me is no life. I don't want to have no communication but the stigma I receive is too much it's not doing me any good. I don't want to meet another doctor again in my life as they say in the film the island they are people that act like "they have something stuck up their @ss" and I'd concur with that. Not my sort of people,  look at the history of psychiatry it is built on humiliating people. I have my ideas they will always be a part of me. As for follow up on the x-rays I was abandoned twice I know I was, you just need to look up how the learning disabled are treated by the NHS they are treated like a bad smell. They probably have resistance to me being on pills but like a good boy I take them, they're supposed to follow up on the pills by the way not that they have. I can laugh at things but I don't see the comedy here

I must say I am alot happier on Venlafaxine. Relaxed is the wrong word but less anxious and I have ideas like I used to and I feel capable of going through with them. I decided a few days ago that there was no need to put pressure on myself i've done the work it was bad for me so just going to put all my ideas into ebay. Thought about themed months every month spend a little get it back or most of it
