If we do an adapted BS and VOTE for the person below ourself on the list everybody should end up with one vote each. Realistically that gives us a 4/9 chance of hitting a goon. Errrrpppp - no it doesn't (well, it does but the goons aren't gonna sit around come lynch time and let one of their own get it in the neck). All the goons would need to do is just hold fire until 5 to deadline and then do a massive (i.e. one or two of them) pile on and that'll be game over. In fact as soon as someone votes for a non-goon, they've got enough fire power to finish the game. So all that guff I just said about the randomiser...forget it. I am not a goon but I am that good at Ker-Plunk I could beat them with a gun to my head, I even have an supersized version of it. I know...unbelievable for me (in normal Mafia games) but I guess it would be fair to say this hasn't been a normal Mafia game. I was driving home tonight when it struck me that I hadn't voted and my reaction was 'Meh' as I assumed that the assassin would continue to be incompetent and go for the 3rd mason. Imagine my surprise when it was revealed that he/she'd bagged a goon. So we've got 7 folk left and 3 of them goons. A vote by a non-goon for a non-goon will give them licence to pick us off so I'll see who's already voted for me...that must make them a goon as I'd've been picked off otherwise.
