benny Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 Is this the same situation as the last time he left in 2006.Seem to remember we had an option of a year but he chose to go elsewhere despite Hearts getting Champions league qualifying,something that he said was important to him..We have an option of another year now,so again if he really wants to stay he will. It's not his choice whether he decides to play or not he's a HMFC player under contract and will play when and if picked to do so. Given a finisher we would have won at Ibrox. Like it or not Rudi makes a massive difference. If that Hammil chance falls to Rudi on thursday night we win that game as well. We would need to sign a new player as we do not have a replacement player in the squad. Like John, the youths would HAVE to be our next port of call if there was no money available. I was saying what JJ had said in an interview about him not wanting to play before his contract was sorted. I thought it was an ongoing achilles problem he has but either way he does have an injury. Now I am not willing to offer outrageous sums, not longer than a one year deal but as a player who would be fit and well there is really no need to even think twice.
