I didnt like the odds and only want to spend a few pounds. so I waited to see if the other team might get in an early goal. This strategy only works some of the time of course. Southampton did get a very early goal, and the odds for Liverpool ( away) to win went to 8/1 , with 88 minutes left. That time value is very important. When you look back from half time at the score, you can see this was a great price. Its an idea that I've used a few times a year and often gives a very good return. Cash out on most bookie sites gives incredibly poor value. Don't think it would have worked in this specific case but it's something to be aware of in the future. I think 7/1 on Watford to beat Chelsea is a big price, they are the type of team that could get a result against Chelsea. Small bet on that. Finally, I've gone with Watford (+2) in a treble with Leicester (+2) (away to Liverpool) and Hibs (+2) (away to Rangers). It pays 9/5 with bet365, Ladbrokes is slightly better if you have an acct. with them. Maybe worth considering Norwich (+2) away to Spurs mainly due to the results they've been getting, can't see Spurs hammering them. 4/1 for the 4-fold. If you don't know what (+2) is, it's a handicap bet, your selection wins if the team wins, draws or only loses by 1 goal. Odds are much smaller that backing the team to win outright but in this case, I feel it has a good chance. Good luck if you go with it.
