Cardiff

Man City

Burnley

Southampton

:verysmug::munny:

?227 back.

Edit - Man City were well underpriced tonight at 13/10. Considering the strength of their squad. Also, Cardiff were good value too at 6/5 against a rotten Blackburn.

AT ******* LAST!

Just a treble:

Cardiff

Southampton

Reading

But it at least brings a long losing streak to an end. Best thing about it was it was a free ?10 from Ladbrokes as I hadn't used them in so long. Turned into ?57 (less their tenner).

Cardiff City to beat Blackburn in the Carling Cup next mid-week in Cardiff is 8/5.

Liverpool to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the same night is 17/4.

(13/1 double)

Manchester City to beat Liverpool this weekend has drifted to 13/8 (from 7/5), likely due to their Champions League loss midweek. I still really fancy Man City to continue their run of domestic victories, since their 2-2 draw with Fulham in September, they have won all 9 of their Premier League or Carling Cup matches.

A final tip for this weekend, Cheltenham Town are 11/4 to win at Oxford (8/11 Cheltenham or draw is a good price for accumulator bets)

Cheltenham are currently 3rd in League two, they have won 7 of their last 8 league fixtures. Away from home, they are currently on a 6 game winning streak in all competitions.

Oxford are 9th, they have lost their last 4 matches, their last wins came at the end of October beating mid-table Port Vale 2-1 and bottom of the table Plymouth 5-1, both at home. Oxford DO have a very strong home record, but recent form suggests they could be struggling at the moment. Almost 3/1 is a big price IMO.

:verysmug:

+?476 for Cardiff and Liverpool last night. ?50 on Cardiff, ?30 on Liverpool and ?20 on the double.

Was I the only one that bet Liverpool?

Nope I also had Liverpool in an accumulator. Picked them once I'd seen the teams (Torres ) and that Liverpool had a huge away support.

Line let down by Cambridge though

I really thought you were joiking and wasn't going to admit to you making me double check that

Udinese burst me anyway. They finished 0-0.

Waiting on Man (-1) for a treble.

Listening on the radio and it doesn't seem very likely, so have just covered it with Crystal Palace (+2) @ 1/2.

Still hoping for Man U to do it, but will still win a massive ?5 if they don't.

Had ?10 on Spurs at 7/1. They've scored and have an extra man.

?50 on Tottenham to win now at 23/20.

10/11 for Motherwell at home to a rank rotten Hobo side?

Yes please.

As rotten as they are I would never back against a team with a new manager. Risky.

Brighton at home to Nottingham Forest 5/4 (Championship)

Brighton have won their last 2 home games after a run of 5 games without a win. They beat Barnsley (15th) 2-0 and Coventry (23rd) 2-1. Nottingham Forest have lost 4 of their last 5 away games, they beat Blackpool (8th) 2-1.

Macclesfield away to Chelmsford 13/10 (FA Cup)

Macclesfield (Lg2) have won 3 of their last five away games including beating Thurrock 3-0 in the previous round. Thurrock are also in the Conference South. Chelmsford are 5th (out of 22) and have won 2 out of 9 home games, they have drawn 5.

Cheltenham away to Luton 7/4 (FA Cup)

Cheltenham (Lg2) have won 10 out of their last 12 away games. Luton (Conf) are 6th (out of 24) and have won 6 out of 11 home games in the league this season. They have won just 2 of their last 5 home games, losing 2-1 to 2nd placed Fleetwood Town and 1-0 to top of the league Wrexham, they drew 1-1 with Telford (17th).

Just noticed that Crystal Palace are at home to Derby tonight. Seems a bit harsh to make them play 2 games in 48 hours.

Even though Derby's form hasnt been brilliant, Palace went to extra time and havent been setting the league alight themselves.

5/2 on Derby looks good.

Which bookies is it that does the coupon where you still win if 1 team lets you down (at reduced odds)?

Very very tempted to punt a decent wedge on a Derby/Toon double at just over 12/1.

Bottled out of putting seven teams on and shortened it down to a more sensible five:-

CHARLTON v Carlisle - 4/6

SHEFFIELD WED v Aldershot - 1/2

BRIGHTON v Nottingham Forest - 13/10

Doncaster v SOUTHAMPTON - 3/4

WEST HAM v Burnley - 4/6

?10 pays ?168.
