My debts are building up nicely.

 

I suppose its just part of having a good time at uni.

 

You could have no debt whatsoever if you didnt mind looking back and thinking what a crap time you had.

 

yeah my ex flatmate from second year was bit like that, swear she only came out once a month....it was second year for goodness sake(no offence meant but you know...)...not exactly final year, and she spent the whole time at her computer doing work....did pay off thought she got a first....but had no social life and no debt.

Self employed plumbing and heating engineer. Mainly fit Bathroom suites.

 

I'm a civil servant but I do know a hobo who has an indoor toilet.

I remove splinters = Paramedic.

I fix leaks = Plumber.

I help with homework = Teacher.

I maintain cars = Mechanic.

I dig graves for Hamsters/Goldfish = Gravedigger/Funeral Director.

I transport people = Taxi Driver.

I paper & paint = Decorator.

I Bar-B-Que stuff = Chef.

I dispense cash, one-way = Auto-teller/Mug.

I chase the Boogie man = Ghostbuster.

I make love to my wife (If I?m lucky) = Porn star after 6 pints.

I dirty plates the bathroom & bedroom = Lazy b*****d.

I worry, care & protect all that I?ve got = Human being.

I support Heart of Midlothian Football Club = F*****g A******e!

 

Then I go to my work for a rest!

Im youth worker and soon to be Ann Summer agent :)

I wouldn't have thought there was much call for Anne Summers parties in Ullapool, mind you there's feck all else to do, might as well have an early night.

I run a project for homeless people in the Grassmarket, soup kitchen/drop-in kind of thing. We're shut just now, while we move to a temporary building, the kitchen's going in as I type. http://www.grassmarketmission.org if you're interested.

Quite enjoy it to be honest, it's normally quite interesting, especially when you assess famous people's applications.

 

Mortgage Brokers can be a right pain in the erse though :ahhhhhhh:

Heh heh, thats a good thing you dont recognise my name mate ;)

 

Must mean I dont give you a hard time, to be honest I dont give any underwriters a hard time as I appreciate the difficulty they have both in insurance and mortgage terms.

 

Some brokers can be real nob jockeys tho.

Yip same with my job, I forget what my proper title should be and as I work with young people and am basically a youth worker. That title does, really Im a youth development officer, Support worker for SYPs and Youth bank coordinator, so youth worker covers the bases
