Jambo_LuLu
Agreed with Andy - it's fascinating!! They way the dislocate they're jaws and just munch on down...!! Think I'm gonna get me one of those bad boys. Now to convince the flatmate!

Alan_R
The other half has 2 Giant African Snails. They are massive! Easily looked after. Just need a spray of water every now and then and a bit of lettuce in the tank. I've called them Huey and Luey. Was pet shopping with the missus yesterday. Started out looking at fish but she wanted a bloody tropical reef and said the goldfish were 'boring'. She was after a budgie or something furry but I was having none of it! Honestly it was like shopping with a child. anyway those snails sound like my idea of a pet (quiet & low maintanence) might get her a few of those. do you know where she got them? tedp6873
well here is the pic from last night. it took her over 1hr last night to eventually get it in her mouth now she is sleeping lol but as Andy says it was pretty spectacular to see her do it like she does in the wild. Seashell
well here is the pic from last night. it took her over 1hr last night to eventually get it in her mouth now she is sleeping lol but as Andy says it was pretty spectacular to see her do it like she does in the wild. You forgot to mention how anxious we all were that it was taking her so long to swallow it!!! Then the blood after cos I thought she had hurt her wee mouth but it was just blood from the mouse! It was really something to watch and our other wee one Doris didn't strike just opened her jaws up huge and swallowed!

Seashell
That's a pretty big mouse for her size! She'll be very tired today haha! Thats what they gave us in the shop but I think its a bit big. She has been vegging out now since last night, she used up so much energy swallowing it. Once she attacked it tho there was no way she would be giving it up. Pretty awesome really!
