Apparently he was working in Pizza Hut in Liverpool and they won some sort of award which lead to his photo appearing in a photo. Think the cover was blown by a then colleague of his' Aunt. If you compare it to the photo of him as a child (the one where he is smiling), his eye colour. hair colour, nose and ear shape are all very similar, so it is a good match. He has very distinctive eyes, that alone wouldn't be enough to identify him though, but every other feature matches up too. The announcement about his ID compromise has basically crushed any hope of they had of trying to mask this as a hoax. There is also the issue of what will happen to the people who unveiled him. It's just such a tidy solution. Still it's better than the Tabloid "readers" in England who attacked a Paediatrician after he was wrongly "outed" as a Paedo! Good old infallible natural justice.
