Methil, 1969, my first snog, on the terracing with some Fife lassie at the age of 12

 

 

Followed by huge embarrassment as she sent a letter to my school (Porty) which my teacher took great delight in reading out...

 

 

early 1970s Hearts fans on the away buses forming a human pyramid to get over the wall and into the ground without paying - wee boys over first then pull the big laddies up

 

 

Mid 70s bottles of Emva Cream and Scotsmac at the back of the SMT buses.

 

Throwing up off the motorway, getting woke up when we arrived.

 

On the way back mayhem in the bakers as the big lads diverted the serving lassie and we all choried bags of cream buns

 

The police on the bus and accusing us of theft of cakes

 

"what cakes"? from a guy with icing powder all over his face

The last time I went to East Fife the bus window got tanned in by some dodgy Fifers.

It was about 1980. It was a cup game and we won 2-0. I was about 14 at the time and it was a bit hairy.
