A hibby mate of mine, told me VR is selling up as FSA have prevented his bank being set up in Edinburgh and the Council are not helping him with his plans.

He is not too happy and wants out.

Says it was in the scotsman. Any truth? or the fact my mates a hibby speaks for it's self

I believe that the story is a pack of lies from a rag that seems to specialise in such

Iain,

You're gonna have to consider choosing your friends more carefully bud.

Get on the BBC IPlayer and listen again to 'Open all Mics' from Saturday if you can... When even BBC Scotland are ripping your local Edinburgh newspapers and their biased reporting, then you know that you must have serious problems.

Johnston press: Tick-Tock.

All rubbish! He may sell in the future if Scotland and Edinburgh continued to be closed for business, but the interview which covered this subject was overall a positive one which discussed both on and off park issues.

Never heard the comments on air as I was listening to the Hearts commentery instead of open all mics but friends have recounted what they heard on the radio to me and the jist of it is that they were amazed at how such a positive interview with a Hearts director could be *******ised in such a way by our local press. The EEN then took it upon themselves to print a story on Saturday evening, screaming their loyalty to Ediburgh's two Premier football clubs... This article and the comments that it prompted are available on-line by googling EEN and then searching the word "LEADER" in the search site box in the top right corner.

You can also find it in full in my "Jambo ex-readers of Johnston Press" Facebook page that is linked on the Terrace thread about The Scotsman, EEN and SoS.
