Neon
Agree with the above Comments only game in London I have ever been at was Spurs Vs Arsenal when spus humped them in the cup about 2 years ago (5-1) I think. However never heard of away support needing to walk down a tunnel a mile long for their safety to leave or enter a ground!!!

Victor Meldrew
It was fine at the station where the two sets of fans met. My mate (Milwall fan) said they don't normally let that happen. Having been in the home end, I have to say it wasn't easy to stifle my pleasure at our victory, but it was probably a sensible idea
Remnants of Standards
Good game but I only saw the last 60 mins! Farcical ticketing and queing arrangements outside led to a crush infront of the three ticket windows serving only three turnstiles. Didn't hearts tell us there would be a cash gate? Taken for mugs again.
Luton Jambo
It was fine at the station where the two sets of fans met. My mate (Milwall fan) said they don't normally let that happen. Having been in the home end, I have to say it wasn't easy to stifle my pleasure at our victory, but it was probably a sensible idea I was on the train from South Bermondsey back to London Bridge and the carriage I was in was full of both Hearts and Millwall fans. No trouble at all and they were full of praise for use especially for Thomson. "Your number 7's a bit tasty" was one remark and "That number 7 was a pleasure to watch" was another. On the train to the game I was talking with a couple of Millwall lads and they were good as gold, showed me the way to the away end when we got to the ground and shook hands before we parted. I even had something to eat in the Millwall Cafe outside the ground before the game and it was full of Millwall and but not a hint of any bother and didn't feel I was in a dodgy situation at any time. They knew I was Hearts but only asked about how many we were bringing down and stuff like that. Was a very enjoyable day all round.

Good to hear - it's just how it should be particularly when we had 1000 fans there for Chopper Harris, and gave him a great reception when he went off. I also thought it was a nice to touch to sing 'one Neil Harris' during the game

CJGJ
Just back -- great day out -- even the flights were on time -- well almost. Had a great time in the London Bridge area -- hi again to Stuart and the boys I met. Apart from the obvious few idiots we had a great support there and the Maribor Hearts banner deserves a mention -- gos knows what it would be like at that ground if the match meant something -- thanks to us it created a good atmosphere for a friendly match -- just who did they think they were going to reach when some 'fans' ran along the upper tier of the stand ? Of course there are areas we need to address but thats for another day -- I can actually say I now know why Craig Thomson has a reputation as a dead ball expert -- up until now I thought it was a myth
Tiberius Stinkfinger
Apart from the Brazilian mob down the road I have never heard or read so much pish about a football team and its reputation in all my puff. If anybody at the game today witnessed ONE Millwall shirt apart from the 11 on the pitch I would be actually surprised. Well played every jambo for creating a good atmosphere and some comical banter. I think the team reacted.....
haj
Honestly cracks me up seeing all the P!sh they're coming out with. The police escort after the game was a waste of fecking time. Their support inside the ground was as pathetic, their 'casuals' looked about 16 years old!
