monkfish1979 Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 If I'd been in charge of the operation there wouldn't have been any silly negotiations or discussions with this character who had already as much as admitted that he'd killed one person and seriously wounded two others. Once there were enough firearms officers on site to ensure the safety of the arresting officers I'd have ordered the police to directly arrest Moat and if he'd decided to blow his own brains out then so be it. Everything would have been over in a matter of minutes. Word. In actual fact, I'd probably have told them just to go and blast the fecker to kingdom come.
