The Wicker Man

KP Wigwams and 'Skippy' chocolate bisciuts - washed down with Cresta or a bottle or Koolipop <sp?>.

Also used to like Jubilees - frozen Robertsons of Blantyre fruit squash in a plastic container.

Tudor original Cheese and Onion crisps when they first came out in the 1960s were superb. Then their Curry crisps in the 1980s or thereabouts, again excellent. Also loved Bovril and Oxo crisps, can't remember who made them. Potato Puffs were another favourite, especially the tomato flavour. I'm salivating at the memory of these goodies.

Buffalo Bill

Back in the day, I was a bit of an OAP when it came to chocolate.

I loved Fry's Five Centres best, but I also enjoyed the coconut and cherry heaven that was a Cabana.

Awesome choice. As were the fish and chips. I'd pay good money for a packet of them, these days. I remember my mother in law told me she got a packet of fish and chips up the local shops and that she hadn't had them for years. I was off like an effin' greyhound. Quickly found out she was on about the white chocolate version of fish and chips. He sells a lot of old sweets and had made up packets of those with 5 fish and 5 chips in them for 50p

Had to settle for a packet of them.

I obciously kicked my mother in laws face in for getting my hopes up tongue.gif

You can get T-Bone Steak Roysters from the newsagents next to where the Blamoral was. I got a packet on the way home from Tynie the other week but didn't think they tasted as good as they used to
