It's a room in Uzhhorod Castle, western Ukraine. Looking at the photo, I now remember why it wasn't so great. The woman you see at the bottom left was the curator of that particular room and the whole room was pretty dark (they were having to conserve energy). We had a nice chat about Ukrainian musical instruments (she was interested that I had been a piper), despite my threadbare knowledge of the subject, and I asked her if I could take a photo. She had to turn on the good lights by plugging in the cable that you see there, and I didn't want to take too long to frame my photo etc. because I felt it wouldn't be fair on her, so I grabbed a couple of very quick photos without checking them.
