What and have Ian Murray's team up or Ross Co and MacGregor survive?

Poor mikey slated him yesterday as poor manager and went on about hibs next season revolution so mikey giruy. For record not a  fan of levein now, after the 100 player fiasco and costing us a few bob with total dross in main he brought to club the 5 year project but stewarts worse.

Aye, was always going to be a bit of a lose/lose scenario. Great player for us.

He also brought Neilson in who took us straight back up in 2015 against better funded clubs and spotted the potential in Naismith giving him the route in to management. Add to the Academy and the building of the infrastructure at the club....Three bad mistakes. Cathro as manager. Then trying to fix it by stepping in as manager. Finally, not retiring after SC 2019 final and a heart attack.

Levein may have kept them up but it was him who got them into that position so would expect him to be relieved of duty in summer. Can only hope that County go down. Been hoping they take their own medicine for some time.

I'm sure at least 6 or 7 of the starting 11 today are out of contract in a few weeks time. Not bothered how they do but wouldn't be surprised to see them fighting relegation all next season especially If County stay up .

Fair point TC. No sure that Leveins tenure despite safety will be enough to save him tho. Mind his 2 wins over Hubs was good value.

Came in to avoid relegation and beat hibs a couple of times in the process

Prior to his health scare during his last stint at hearts, Craig Levein was a damn good manager.

After that he lost his edge and should have called it a day

Mission accomplished for Levein. Huge result today when they really needed it.

He needs to know when to step down. It was a point I wanted to make. Had he left after the 2019  SCF he would have left in a good note. He should have learnt his lesson.

My impression of CL is that he wants to help mentor and develop coaches. It was what he did with Cathro, Neilson, Ross, Daly, MacPhee, Fox & now Kirk.

I believe I'm correct in saying that his goal at St Johnstone is ultimately to hand the reigns over to Kirk. A similar set up to what he did here? (with the intention to be successful obv)

I think he failed with Daly. God knows what happened whilst he was out after the heart attack.

Heard him on radio saying he had never been involved in a relegation battle before as a manager which did make me bristle a bit.

Still, I'm glad he kept St Johnstone up.

Levein’s ego and selfishness set us back years.

I don’t wish him well in anything football related now.

Outside of football, I hope he’s healthy and well.

It didn't but you enjoy your misery. He made mistakes but at least he got to be one of this club's greatest players, suffered two ACL injuries with us, won 16 caps, picked us up and gave us back to back 3rd places as manager in 2002-03 and took us from the depths of admin to third in the league. Jeez:vrface:

And then took us to the championship, countless expensive contracts on overrated shite, he conducted a “thorough” search and his ego came to the conclusion he should take the job.

Nothing positive.

He is a shite football manager these days but I'm glad he kept St.Johnstone up.  I don't want Raith Rovers coming up with that plastic pitch and I feel Ross County will be a much tougher tie for them to get through.  Got to thank Levein for taking 6 points off Hibs and helping to plunge them into the bottom 6.  He is a prick but still a PHM.
