IronJambo
The tastiest gin, in the most alluring of vessels. Has to be a slice of lime though, not lemon. 50ml with a little less than 150ml tonic, a wedge of lime and 3 ice cubes in my gaff. with a good bit of lime juice squeezed from another wedge in it. i've gave up my search for a nicer gin

BoJack Horseman
cucumber. I tried that particular novelty with Hendricks and it wasn't that bad. Still though, it has to be lime.
IronJambo
cucumber. quite clearly, only ever in hendricks. but if you don't like cucumber it kills the novelty. hendricks with lime unfortunately is no better than tanqueray which of course is a decent (and very different) alternative to bs but will always come second

Boof
The tastiest gin, in the most alluring of vessels. Can't comment on the tastiness (can't remember if I've ever had it) but the most alluring of vessels? C'mon, man. What can beat those marvellous milk containers every woman is blessed with? mulleted_jambo
Talking of tasty drinks, does anyone know where you can buy a bottle of Havana Club these days??? They've stopped selling it in sainburys and all the Vicky wine/threshers have closed down. Couldn't be bothered starting a new thread.
Munchausen
I got given a box of fresh limes from a friend a few months ago. There must have been around 300 of them. I decided to juice some and ended up with a large jug of fresh lime juice (and stinking hands). 1 part Hendricks gin to 1 part fresh lime juice. The one part gin ended up being a whole bottle! What a great drink.

Boof
Apart from G & T, what else can you recommend? I'm tired of Sailing with the Captain, and want to try something else... Take one measure of gin. Leave it in the bottle. To a glass add a generous slug of Stewart's rum. Add some coke or diet coke. If you're feeling a bit adventurous put in some ice. Drink in a manly fashion.
Buffalo Bill
Those of us who offer a gin and tonic to our guests as an ap?ritif are simply displaying a warm hospitality in the form of a cold drink. Yet a good gin and tonic made well is more than a drink. It's a statement of one's goodwill and manners. Saying that, I bet loads of poofs drink it too.
