RoaldJensen Posted December 7, 2009 Share Posted December 7, 2009 dont think so. They changed from Newton Heath to Manchester United in 1902 after receiving a large sum of money from a local brewery. At this time their colours were Green and Yellow and they were intending to change the name of the club to Manchester Celtic.
