Heid-the-ba: The person in charge. If you need a refund you must consult heid-the-ba, he is in charge. He is a bit of a numpty but who in management isnt?

 

Don't agree with this one. I've always just thought it meant a dour, dim-witted ****. Never associated it with control.

 

Class phrase, though :D
