possible reason for all the injurys

thers a pic of the players holding a plank position with stevie frail standing with them.

 

the plank is a core exercise. core strength is very important in sporting performance and also injury prevention.

 

their positions are terrible! one has a big arch in his lower spine and someone in the background has a big hump back! surly the fitness guys at the club should be correcting this. i have never been to watch the training but it kinda makes me think if they are getting this wrong how many other things are they doing wrong?

 

anyone seen the training? what sort of exercise are they doing?

piggy in the middle comes first but not all players take part.

 

they do a 15 minute running warm-up before going onto ladders or poles.

then they do a little bit of ballwork then finish of with a 5 minute slow jog too warm down.
