Gambo
Anti-Berra brigade arrives. Nothing anti Berra in saying he had a good game. To say he had a flawless 10 out of 10 game though?????? The posters who do that do Berra a disservice imo.
Harry Palmer
All those giving Berra a 10, did you miss the first 10mins? (generally a 10 out of 10 means a faultless display) He had a good game, but he had a horrendous first few minutes. Karipidis was MOTM for me, followed by Neilson, Jonsson and Glen. Well, seeing as I did not give The Captain 10/10 as I find 9/10 is enough and it is also rather impossible to give a perfect performance, and I did not miss the first 10 minutes. Mr Berra was and is superb... FACT. Why you placed Gary Glen ahead of Mr Berra, I'd like to know? Indeed, why those before The Captain, I'd also like to know? Gambo
Balogh 7 Did all that was asked of him. Neilson 7 Performed well, though ws turned inside out by Fletcher for his chance. Berra 7 After a dodgy first few minutes played well. Jonsson 7 Good game at left back/centre half. Thompson 5 His injury worked in our favour. Karipidis 8 Great shift at either def midfield or centre half. Ruben 7 Great player somewhere but lacks real dig at times and sloppy passing. Stewart 5 Passion is there, skill and thought missing though. Kingston 3 Bye bye Driver 6 Turned inside too often and chose the wrong option a lot Nade 7 Good hold up, but tries to beat 4 or 5 of them instead of passing although tbf we do not give him too many options sometimes. Glen 7 A breath of fresh air, enthusiastic and able. Chesney 6 Got involved, nice link up wth Neilson. IMO we were crying out for Templeton to come on and replace Stewart. Glen should start next week as he will give the hobos something to think about imo. Kingston can go and will not be missed.
benny
Best for us where Berra, robbie,Jonsson and Balogh.Stewart did better 2nd half.Ruben played ok.Driver took the wrong option so many times.Shooting inside 18yard box a joke.Ruben,Nade,Stewart,Driver and Glen the main culprits. Balogh 8 Neilson 8 Berra 8 Thomson 6 Jonsson 8 Best game ever for me. Karipidis 7 Kingston 4 Ruben 7 Stewart 5 Better 2nd half. Nade 5 Poor finishing for a striker. Driver 5 Beat man easy enough but crossing and shooting poor. Glen 6 Made the team better but missed great chance in box. Chesney 6 Linked up well with Robbie but still no end product. I am quite happy that some will find Berra MOTM, no problem with people having an opinion, i thought he had a good game also. My problem is those who thought he was faultless and gave him 10/10 when he had 3 bombscares in the first 10mins.
blairdin
Balogh 8 - did everything that was asked of him. Neilson 7 - typical Robbie. Solid, unspectacular, couldn't pass wind! Berra 8 - excellent again Thomson 6 - doing fine until injury. The change actually done us good. Jonsson 9 - kid is destined for the top. Awesome IMHO. Karipidis 8 - hope we can keep him beyond summer. Excellent in midfield and defence. Kingston 4 - hope the scouts weren't watching today Ruben 7 - some great passing Stewart 3 - until Glen came on. 6 after that. Nade 7 - needs a goalscorer to play off him Driver 6 - good player but his final ball is frustratingly poor at times Glen 6 - deserves a decent run of games. Chesney 6 - did more in 30 mins that Kingston did in 60.
sp&cp
Balogh - 8 . Great Save near the end. Neilson - 9/10 Just Brilliant Berra - See Neilson , apart from a dodgy first 3 mins or so Jonsson - 10 Goal Saving challenge done it for me Thomson - 3 Unlucky, half decent up to the point of coming off Kingston - 1 - Absolute Baws Palazuelos - 7 Decent shift , quite a few stray passes Stewart - 4 Not good enough Karipidis - 6 bit to casual at times Driver - 7 Decent shift never saw enough of the ball Nade - 8 good shift , needs to learn how to score , unlucky. Subs : Glen - 7 Looked good , Unlucky with his shot , need to play him more but Csaba ! Cesnauskis - 6 Looked Lively when he came on
Brick Tamland
Balogh - 8 - Didn't have a lot to do but looked composed and controlled. Neilson - 9 - Terrific display Thomson - 3 - Thought he was poor before gong off and looked a liability Berra - 9 - Fantastic and his booking was a joke Karipidis - 8 - Didn't put a foot wrong solid enough game Palazuelos - 5 - Worked harder than Kingston but distribution was dreadful Jonsson - 9 - Superb display - looked comfortable in both positions he played my MOM Stewart - 5 - see palazuelos Nade - 6 - Great work but his finishing was woeful Kingston - 2 - lazy wage thief - shut the door on the way out. Driver - 6 - Final ball wasn't great but looked dangerous Subs: Glen - 6 - Worked hard, decent strike off the woodwork didn't click/gel with nade as well as I thought. Cesnauskis - 5 - Better than Kingston Referee - decent game but was a bit lenient especially towards Fletcher, and Murray should have walked
bighusref
Jonsson 8 Best game ever for me. Jocular or not, god love you brother. It is a near cardinal sin for someone on this board to admit to any possible error of judgement.
Cupar Jambo
Can't believe some of the comments about Palazuelos. From where I was watching, he was by far our best midfielder today - got stuck in all over the pitch and dictated a lot of the play. Although Stewart had some great runs into the box in the second half, the contrast in efficacy between the two could hardly be greater.Balogh, Jonsonn, Berra, Neilson, Karapidis were all outstanding for me today. Some very poor passing and worse of all chickened out too many tackles that is why he gets an average mark from me
Cupar Jambo
Balogh - 8 - Did well when called too Neilson - 9 - Excellent performance Thomson - 3 - Berra - 10 - Just shaded Robbie for MOM, another fantastic performance Karipidis - 6 - Did ok Palazuelos - 6 - Bottled a few tackles and passinf iffy Jonsson - 8 - Gets better Stewart - 6 - Poor start but improved Nade - 6 - His finishing is woeful but good hol up Kingston - 4 - Poor Driver - 7 Patchy Subs: Glen - 6 - Offered more than Kingston Chesney 5 In and Out_________________

gerryjambo41
I thought everybody except Kingston done their bit today , But I thought Robbie Neilson was MOM . Berra and Jonnson were almost as good IMO. I thought both Mikey and Palazueos(sp) had good and bad spells in the game , for the first time in a long time I was worried going into a derby after that t**t Brines last week , but the boys were great and next week we'll be stronger and pump them
H2
Balogh - 7 - Did everything correct but not threatened, Neilson - 9 - Fantatsic game, some good passing as well as excellent defending. (MOTM) Berra - 9 - Just keeps getting better, could have been a 10 if that shot had gone in! Karipidis - 8 - A real unsung hero, again important contributions at significant times, that we just take for granted now. Thomson - 5 - This jury member is still out. Jonsson - 7 - Another very good performce, showing versitility. Kingston - 2 - Attitude summed up when Murray simply ran away from him. He looks like a Ferrari, but someone put a Punto engine inside. Stewart - 6 - Worked hard, but one of theses days when things just didn't happen for him. Ruben - 6 - Needs a bit more appetite. Driver - 7 - Good performance, just did not get the breaks. Nade - 3 - Worked hard, but at the moment give him a penalty without and GK and would he score. Job Description, Striker. CV doesn't look too good. Glen - 7 - Again shows promise, knows where the goals are. Chez - 5 - Never got a lot of opportunity Referee - Excellent game, kept things going, will be interesting to see TV to judge decisions, but from where I was it looked a poss pen when whoever it was climber on Nedes back, a defo penatlty when Murray elbowed Berra in the face. A Murray send off whne he hauled Berra back to the ground off the park. Fletcher warned twice for diving then committed anoer five fouls before seeing yellow. Not sure why Berra got booked. Thought Rhat Boy was unlucky to get booked.
hearts_crazy
I think everyone has got the message by now that you are not a Stewart fan:mw_rolleyes: Then they've got the wrong message. I don't question his commitment but he over elaborates and thinks he is better than he actually is. If he was to play to his strengths instead of trying to be someone he isn't then he is a useful player to have as backup, but I wouldn't play him before Aguiar that's for sure. JennyJambo
The Balogh - 8 No complaints. Did the job when needed. One really good save. I'd be pleased if we found the ?150k and bought him. Thomson - 4 Did ok Neilson - 8 Thought he had a cracker today. Berra - 9 My MoM. Shaky few minutes at the start but bossed his area from then on. Starting to look like a captain. Jonsson - 7 Did the job in both positions. Looked comfortable. Karipidis - 7 Strolled through the game. Palazaelos - 6 I find him a bit hit and miss. Can do the job but prone to bottle challenges sometimes. Stewart - 5 Game of two halves for him. Achieved pretty much hee haw until later on when he got into a more natural position. Kingston - 2 And that's only for his shot. Contributed the square root of nowt. Driver - 7 Good running and wasn't troubled much in getting up and down but his play in the final third (ball delivery especially) needs work. Nade - 7 Thought he was very good today...I saw him run really fast at least twice! Seriously I see him more as the set up man than the netter. Crying out for partner to play with. Glen - 7 Lively, intrested and we seemed to pick up when he came on. I'd like to see him get a run with Nade. The Little one might just be what big Nads is needing. Cesnauskis - 6 Should get the nod ahead of Kingston for Wed. Ref: Berra's booking was stupid. Could have been a bit tighter on Fletcher and Bamba but as Ref's go in this country he did a decent job. Debut 4
Balogh 7 steady as you like Thomson 5 early bath no real time to shine Berra 8 lead by example again Jonsson 7 acquitted himself superbly to 2 different roles. Neilson 8 yes an 8, not his biggest fan but admittedly doing well. ---------------------------------- Pala 7 at heart of most thngs for us Karipidis 7 stuck in and solid. Stewart 6 don`t know if the guy has it really but stuck to task. Driver 6 getting pi ssed off at his sheeite crossing Kingston 4 im a fan but he was a disgrace today. -------------- Nade 4 holds onto ball too long and never runs behind defenders. ------------ Glen 6 added positivity and i hope its start of a run for him. Chesney 6 needs to be more confident in himself.
