Team for Wednesday?

No co-incidence that we get one of the rare clean sheets we've had this season and our first away from home (If I remember correctly?), with two things Zaliukas out of the team and Neilson in the team.

For Wednesday I would go with, depending on injuries and suspensions:

Balogh

Neilson ©

Jonsson

Berra

Wallace

Kingston

Paluzuelos

Aguiar

Driver

Husband/Templeton or Glen

Nade

What has Thomson done to deserve to be dropped? Is there anything to suggest Miko, Kingston & Karipidis will be fit for wednesday? I'd be tempted to go along with similar lines as today with Stewart the only player needing to be replaced.

Unfortunately bombscare will waltz back into the team.

For me it would be Balogh, Neilson, Karipedis, Berra, Wallace, Driver, Aguair, Jonsson, Palazuelos, Kingston & Nade. Palazuelos needs to take the chance to knock MS out of the team, Karipedis needs to prove he's a central defender rather than a holding midfielder

Though that's all dependant on fitness.

Thomson could be unfortunate to lose his place, but he is still learning. From what we have seen so far this season from Csaba so far I expect him to go for the experience of Robbie. By all accounts Robbie did a good job yesterday, I am looking forward to seeing him starting at RB against Hamilton.

Csaba has consistently defended not playing Ruben because he sees him in a similar role to Mikey Stewart. Now is the opportunity for Ruben to stake his claim to a permanent first team place and fight to prove he is the better player. If he can't put in a decent performance against Hamilton, then this will probably vindicate Csaba's reasoning and hopefully Ruben's fan club will accept this and quit moaning that he doesn't get a game.

Neilson can hardly be match fit yet but he should be given a start at RB on Wednesday with Thomson coming of the bench if Robbie tires in the game. That's a gamble because it reduces Csaba's scope for more tactical substitutions.

Kingston will probably return and will play RM.

Zaliukas should spend time in the reserves.

I think Csaba's team for Wednesday will be:

Balogh

Neilson Jonsson Berra Wallace

Karapidis

Kingston Driver

Palazuelos

Aguiar

Nade

I don't know if we have anyone in the team that can replace Stewart. It will be interesting to see how we do without him.

Neilson, Miko, Kingston and Karipidis must be doubts for Wednesday.

If all below are fit then:

Janos Balogh

Eggert Jonsson

Christos Karipidis

Christophe Berra

Lee Wallace

Laryea Kingston

Bruno Aguiar

Ruben Palazeulos

Andrew Driver

David Obua

Christian Nade

To be honest there are a few different line-ups I would play. For example Miko at right mid, Larry or Bruno in the centre and the other one behind Nade.

Purely based on the fact that (a) Neilson was not playing right back yesterday and (B) Jason Thomson did exceptionally well there I do not follow this clamour to see Robbie Neilson return to right back. We need to shake up out wide, and need to build on yesterday's 3 points by winning again on Wednesday.

I would go with -

Balogh

Thomson

Jonsson

Berra

Wallace

Templeton

Aguiar

Palazuelos

Driver

Nade

Glen

3 points a must

if 4-5-1

Kello - Neilson, Berra, Karipidis, Wallace - Miko, Kingston, Palazuelos, Driver - Bruno - Nade

but for me its got to be 4-4-2

Kello - Neilson, Berra, Karipidis, Wallace - Miko, Bruno, Palazuelos, Driver - Nade, Glen

I'd like to see wee Templeton get a run out at some point. If McCarthy is old enough and big enough then so is Temps.

I agree that if a player is good enough they are old enough, but Templeton is not big enough, far too lightweight for me. He hasnt done enough in all the reserve games to make me think he is quite at 1st team level yet.

if karipidis is fit then play him centre back n jonsson in cm. if not give mcgowan a chance-done well in the reserves and played 3 in 4 games for aussie u21s and qualified for the world cup.

If Csaba rated Mcgowan he would have been in the team yesterday from the start.

He's in Vietnam with the Aussie national team.
