You been talking to Ted?

Its lovely if your other half goes to all the bother of breakfast in bed, nice back rub, bath run for you etc. Lovely wee nap afterwards with no pressure!!!:P:p She will love you all day I'm tellin ya!

Not meaning to blow my own trumpet here but I do regularly treat her with stuff like this. It's just not appreciated enough!

I thought that a wee morning out and a stroll around the town would be nice.

And, no dishes to clean!

Woolfits in Rose Street.

100 yards in from the west end entrance.

Or believe it or not, but the British Home Stores cafe is actually very good for breakfasts.

Go to Roseburn and walk from there down the banks of the Water of Leith past the weir until you get to Stockbridge. There's a pub there on the corner (by the bridge over the river) that does a superb breaky (or it did last time I was there) and the pre brekky walk is a ripper.

Taxi home for post brekky passion. ;)

There lies your problem my friend, she expects it now because she takes advantage of the better side of your nature.

Do it once every 6 months and when she gets it then she will appreciate it more, treat them mean and keep them keen mate ;)

if i had no kids and they were away over night i know for a fact i would not be taking her for breakfast........................ she would be on the menu end of but guess if your past that stage then there is a nice wee cafe next to the RBS on St Johns Road that does the most awsome breakfast. (but according to my mrs it was not with her)

A few months back, taken over by Poles:rolleyes: I grew up in that cafe, it was open even when I was at Tynie high school.

I second this nomination. Brilliant brekky/brunch foodstuffs. :)

The steak and egg breakfast is superb for hangovers. With a nice pint.

Bijou at the bottom Restalrig Road is highly recommended in that area at any time of day.
