So if we do go Breasts Skywards?

What goes then?

I have a few mates who are very well connected to the club stating that we're in a bad way.

We need to make provisions. I hope its wrong, but my gut feeling that its not.

So what do we do if we got tats up. I'm willing to put all my savings into the club to rescue it, if it means we can survive.

I honestly think Vlad will sell rather than close us down.

However I think UBIG are calling the shots now and do not give a monkey's about Hearts or it's fans.

My gut feeling is similar.

And I hope those savings are on the very big side mate.

I think we're going to need every penny we can scrape together.

At a time when every penny is a prisoner for a lot of people - we could not have picked a worse time to be planning to hand out a begging bowl.

We really will need to be 'Together' if this goes pearshaped.

Somethings changed and this could be it.

I think the UBIG shareholders/investors are putting pressure on VR.

We are nothing more than a big drain for their money.

If their website is to be believed, Vlad, Rodney and cronies are UBIG. Would that not be a case of tail wagging dog?

If Hearts are in a bad a way as Andy's original post suggests, why the recruitment of a team manager in the summer? New players etc...bids turned down for Berra, Driver etc.

What is without doubt, is that Hearts have a short term cash flow problem. The severity of this has recently increased, probably due to market volatility, otherwise the situation is the same as has been the case during the rest of Romanov's tenure.

Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC

We couldn't raise enough to buy Pieman out.

There is absolutely no chance we could buy Romanov out.

Sorry, but it's a case of what and see what happens now. We have left it to late.

The only thing I can think of is massive protests in the hope that some other foreign 'consortium' or whatever take an interest in us.

Thats the way I see it which makes me think the only way the fans could cover a buy out would be after the administrators have severely trimmed us down. If possible.

That just about sums it up for me too mate, I honestly don't think I could support any other team properly like I have Hearts, turning my back on Scottish football for good and hitting the golf course more would be the ideal ticket for me.

What are we going to protest about AP? A global economic phenomenon?

I'll support Hearts in any form they take. Who knows what that will be. If it is, well, if there is no Hearts, I would either move south and go to Goodison every week or support my local side (either Partick or Clydebank right now).

But a little bit of me would always be dead inside.

I honestly don't know, Bothers.

I'm just pointing out that smashing our piggy banks open isn't an option.

Attracting interest of foreign owners is our only (long shot) chance.

Having said that, nothing has happened YET.

The signs are we are skating on thin ice though.

We get rid of all these loan players -- interesting to find out who in reality is loaned and who is signed by the club.

Of course some of the good will go with the poor but that's administration for you !

High earners will disappear by the January transfer window at the latest.

There will be room for the 'home grown' youngsters to come through -- Glen, McGowan, Husband 'come on down'

The truth re debt and how it came about may finally be released -- remember those administration fees which were in reality excessive transfer fees paid to Kaunus for players they had signed and were transferred/loaned to Hearts.

Good bye to Rodney and associated hangers on.

Hello to a manager with autonomy in selection.

A JKB board who for a season at least will be right behind the club.

A more understanding support at home and away.

A determination not to let this happen again.

A relegation battle and all that follows

Cheerio to Tynecastle ?

But I would prefer we dig ourselves out of this without the need to slump first -- The club is the most important thing -- not for me but for the future -- think of all those poor children who would have to be Hobos all their lives:rolleyes:

So lets hope the worst case scenario does not come to hand but if it does................

Would you ****.

You'd be playing for Real Maroon every week.

You can barely get to the Gyle on time from Glasgow, let alone from Liverpool.

best not to spend any money on Hearts in its current form, save the shekels for when the new club is founded under non-lunatic control

Probably the same but change Anfield for Goodison. Mind, the job has had me at the rugby more than the footy these past three years so I've already a new hobby should HMFC close (to be honest, I got more worked up over last year's RWC than Euro 2008).

However, nothing's over until the gates are locked and the keys handed over so let's not jump overboard yet.

You negotiate the M8 at 8.30am whilst technically maracas and you'll be in a position to judge my friend

Half 8? Half 8?!!!

I left my gaff at 8.40 to walk down to the Gyle!

Like I said "9.15 you were told!"

That could be a good idea - at least wewouldn't have to change the playing staff to compete at that level

There are alot of investors interested in us.

Since 05-06 we've been a decent buy.

A huge, greatly loyal fanbase only waiting for proper leadership and investment to send us up into the same bracket as the uglies.

It's funny how a football club with an owner who has a reported personal wealth of hundreds of millions of pounds appears to be in financial difficulty. I suppose that's what happens when the owner who has a reported personal wealth of hundreds of millions of pounds doesn't put a bolt of his own money in.

What a brave punter you are.

I can only respond to what you put to me.

You said 'we're only a point off 2nd'

OK, how about we won't be within 15 points of 2ns place come the end of the season?

If 15 isn't enough, then feel free to post your thoughts.

I know I'm going to get slated the minute I post this but I have heard from a very good source that Sir Tom Hunter was very interested in buying Hearts but Romanov wanted between 50 to 75 million to be bought out. Hunters max was close 30 million but was not accepted. Now the figures are sketchy as this is only hear say but I believe this was true not too sure if he's still interested though Romanov messed him about quite a bit.

And yes I'm a Hibby but I don't want to see Hearts go under Id miss the banter too much.
