jambodoguk
It seems to me that he was paid to watch and report on the game by the Daily Record but felt the need to bring in his own opinions into the game which were of a far more personal nature and were extremely malicious and was more of a character assassination than anything and raises the question, Why is the daily record giving him a platform to sprout from? Clerry Jambo
'Saul Mikoliunas remarkably stayed on his feet to roll a ball from Audrius Ksanavicius past the stranded Michael Fraser' Is how that clown reported our goal. That was it Gambo - I was raging reading that pesh this morning. Not a big Miko fan but my god the lad has surely paid for his earlier discrepancies and when you see week in week out the well known divers at all the other clubs it makes your blood boil. WASTREL
Anyone know this guy's email address? I'd be angry but I think I'm more amused than anything else. That was officially one of the worst, ill-considered (and most inaccurate) pieces of sport journalism I have ever had the misfortune to read. Smacks of someone trying desperately to be controversial or to find a new angle on something already covered a zillion times. Nice try Fido, I hope Csaba bites you next time you meet. Agreed, ill informed journalism and an arrogant assumption that he has his finger on the pulse of the paying Hearts fan. Personnally I like my team coach to be animated in the dug out ...... I am fed up watching a different game from the guy who picks the team (ok only allegedly). I agree it was not the prettiest game I have seen in years but it is again some progress from previous years of dirge and a game that I would have previously seen us proably draw or lose. Also I am pretty devoid of the algebra theory that is todays football tactics, but I feel I understand what we are trying to do. It also helps to have a brave and technically good goalie at the back for a change. No disrespect to Craig, Antti & Giles but who was the last Hearts keeper to command his box like that? wavydavy
I think that is a pretty accurate take on the actual game on Saturday. But whether Laszlo's clowning is for effect or not I don't know and those comments from the journalist were probably unnecessary. Totally agree with you Coco. Feeno
I think they've been waiting for an opening to hit us with the **** stirring articles since csaba arrived and now after the wages thing they're trying to give us the two guns blazing. I noticed the day an article about Murray the sports scientist being let go and some other trivial stuff that they;re reporting as a cash crisis. It is entirely to cause disharmony as Chad says there is an element of our support without the mental aptitude who believe these sort of things. Therapist
Unbelievably negative article from Gary Ralston in todays Daily Record. Once again, as soon as we start to improve the anti-Hearts rants start. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football-news/scottish-football/spl-football/2008/09/22/hearts-1-0-inverness-86908-20748077/ The Dhaily Rhecord is a pro-sellik rhag. zhang
Gary if you're reading this (and I'm sure you are) wouldn't it be nice if you could grow up a bit and write match reports instead of tedious diatribes aimed solely at discrediting the Hearts manager. It appears now that Csaba Laszlo isn't in fact an enthusiastic manager at all. Just someone who is performing to the fans to hide the deeper flaws at Tynecastle. What a complete crock. So how is one manager being animated and enthusiastic about his team embarrassing yet Martin O'Neill was merely a lively character with his touchline antics? How is one manager being a bit entertaining in his post match interview disrespectful yet Gordon Strachan is apparently hugely entertaining with his small minded jokes and lack of answers? Perhaps if you were a better journalist you may be allowed to report on the OF games and then we could be spared your regular bile that is becoming more petty as the weeks go by. Agree 100%, spot on. Debut 4
The weegie journalists are the most infuriating people in football. They think they ARE thee football people and can say exactly what they want and don`t care. They are hopeless and talentless. They are there to report on what happens in a game but most of the time they are just giving their own small minded opinion which is NOT what reporting is about. Give us all a page in the paper to vent our views, that`s all they are doing. What makes them different to us? Bunch of mediocre paper hacks who waste ink week after week. john brownlee
Reads like a personal attack on Shabba. The Daily Record is the printed version of footballrumours.com and I'd be stunned if any Hearts fan ever believed a word of their stories or gave them the 30p for a copy. This guy Ralston sounds like a bitter, bitter man. Its abit like the pr**t in the daily express I wonder who copied who. Spent more time birating Shabby than actually reporting the match. When I read it I thought it was some no nark hobo annoyed that he had to report the Hearts game than travel to report on the the junkspecialists.ug.url or its squrm mafia starting to worry, I hope its the later. VeraNT
It is so biased that it reads like a counter intelligence piece. Like his boss said, "Ralston, these jam-tarts seem to be waking up. Don't want our two institutions upset and distracted by this nonsense. Just put the boot in, in the most comprehensive way possible. That will help the cause. Every negative thing thrown at these loonies from Tynecastle helps." Now, I'm not paranoid about the OF and the GFA and the whole west coast mafia - but this article smells like they are worried. If these stupid points had not been dropped at Falkirk, Ralston and his bosses would be even more vindictive.

hearts00
A trully remarkable article. I don't know what justified such an attack. Up until now Csaba has been a breath of fresh air and his enthusiasm has been described as a positive by the press, so why this intensely negative article? Yes, we played poorly on Saturday and I felt that Csaba's post match comments were a bit over the top in terms of how we played. His comments were purely designed to build confidence and keep some momentum going. But to say he was disingenuous is shocking. There is absolutely no doubt that the West Coast media are seething that Romanov has not declared us bust or walked away yet. They are also mad that we are up near the top of the league. Pete Seeger
He gave the team 10/10 for tactical discipline. I thought we were all the place definsively for a period in the second half plus it was clear to me that having Mole up-front on his own was completely ineffective. Unless this was his plan - which if it is......god help us !! On top of that he went on to say that ICT had no chances on goal yet IIRC Kello made a couple of excellent saves. We got 3 points, Does that not make it successful? God help us winning games Regarding the comments I find them pretty unsavoury. It smacks of attention seeking and desperation. And as others have stated he sure as hell doesn't speak for me. Shabba can jump up and down as much as he wants on the touchline so long as he get's the results. CJGJ
A couple of more wins in our next 2 matches then derby victory and the stadium will be full against Aberdeen. It is all about results but if we could get the bonus of a couple of good performances then that would really lift the team and give the fans something to 'believe'. The mix is just not right yet but if we click and find that elusive goalscorer then we might just surprise a few. However so far we are a work in progress -- maybe flair is the last thing to come.
