Hobo fan on other side of world sees player. Recommends him to scout. Scout watches 5 mins of video then does 5 mins internet research. Scout realises player prob isn't up to it. Quite impressive that the scout actually took the time to watch the video, do some research and get back to the guy. I bet it's not the first time a fan has recomended a player to a club! jamboinglasgow Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 I think it can be fair for a fan to reconmend a young player to a club, Man united signed up a talented 8 year old from australia after the boys grandad sent a video of him to them, but think a player who has played for many years may be a bit late.
