I listen to a lot of so called 'EMO' music, but along with a great number of different genres. Comments like this really aren't helpful, I've got no tendencies to cut myself, I'm not depressed and certainly don't feel I've been dealt a **** hand at cards. Emo is something the Daily Mail created to scare parents, I'm a parent and I'm happy to let my kids listen to the music I listen to. I've heard more disturbing lyrics in hip hop but I don't come down on the hip hop fans as being drive by killers. back to the topic. The Bends - Radiohead The Killers - Hot Fuss Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American Green Day - American Idiot MCR - The Black Parade

By what measure?

Surely it didn't sell more than the likes of Bat out of Hell (in the charts for about 5 years); Rumours; Dark Side of the Moon; Thriller and probably quite a few others?

Not by a long way.

But this thread should now change to "Name an album by your favourite band" as it is going rapidly away from the subject title.

A good shout earlier by Boris with Forever Changes by Love and Leginten's shout for Exile on Mainstreet by The Rolling Stones.

My own contribution is Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake. Beautiful album. Also love Everyboby Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young.

I am obviously shocked and stunned by your second choice, but it is the third choice that interests me. An astoundingly good album that is far too often ignored.
