What a difference a couple of weeks in JKBland makes! What a bunch we Hearts fans are! What a difference a couple of wins make to our moods!

A well done Beni thread to boot!

Lets hope it stays like this till May!

The big danger here is that a couple of wins seems to make a lot of people on here think that all is well with the world. A couple of wins, welcome as they are make not one diddly squat of a difference to the problems that run deep in our club.

Lets continue to support the team but let's not forget the problems that exist - it might be improving but we are in this position entirely due to mismanagement at every level - self inflicted wounds. One hell of a lot more needs to happen before we should even think of backing this administration.

Indeed! To be honest, I couldn't get my head round the reaction on here post-Motherwell: we were away from home against a team seven places above us in the league, who have done marvellously well so far, and are driven to succeed in the Cup for reasons few of us could fully identify with. We were always going to be right up against it, yet only lost narrowly. Similarly, the post-Hibs reaction was probably too upbeat too: it was great to win, but by heck, were they poor opponents!

Generally speaking, the trend is upwards now. We've been slowly improving ever since Frail was given full control: even the early stages at Tannadice suggested something better, and the reappearance of a genuine team spirit and will to win. We still have a ton of problems, which only a good number of new players and a proven, experienced manager can solve: but things are looking better, and we're just beginning to give ourselves a small shout of getting into the top six by the split. It's still unlikely - but the very fact that it seems possible shows how much better things are starting to look, and if we did make it, it'd represent a remarkable turnaround.
