Larry Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 I like Mark Hughes and i think he's got the talent as a manager to turn a team like City into a top 6 team and then even further, but i dont think i would trust the owner to give him the time to develop a good enough squad. Last season city did great, i know they fell away in the second half of the season, but the chairman seems to demand instant success and just binned sven despite the fact he did a good job. I reckon City will be about 7th or 8th again this season as i dont see them finishing above spurs and pompey, but i worry that it wont be good enough for the chairman.
