Got to head through tomorrow.

Is it right to take the M8 and then come off at the M77 / A77?

How far into Glasgow are you before taking the M77? Junction number?

Cheers.

I just find the A71 better as I dont need to think about taking turn off's etc. Never done it the other way I'm afraid.

Andy clearly wants you to get to Killie in time for Christmas 2009.

That is the way to go except you should take the Bellshill exit on the A8 and head for East Kilbride. As you go in the road splits. Take the right lane. Turn right at 1st roundabout and left(filter lane) at next. You are on Stewartfield Way. Go straight through everything till you hit the M77.

Alot depends on what time you will be travelling. Enjoy;)

I've done all these routes, and going through East Kilbride is slightly quicker (especially in the evenings), but if you've never gone through before I'd definately stick to the motorway.

Chester is talking pesh about the A71. You'll average about 50mph with all the traffic on the road.

Best way IMO, work colleague lives in Killie and goes this way each day.

Benny Factor

M8, Junction 22 will take you onto the M77(A77).

Definately the easiest route.

There are roadworks on the A71 at Galston right now that would have an effect on your journey time if you took that route.

Thanks guys. M8 Junction 22 it is.

Chester is outvoted the same ratio as the Frank McGarvey poll!
