David Gray seems to be struggling to get the best out of his team but I think they’re better than their results to date. That said, I’m confident that man-for-man we’ve got the better players. I hope the Hibs ‘keeper has another shocker!

Penrices left boot
Good chance this hibs team goes down imo, said it at the start of the season. Getting back to back league wins would really get us going with St Johnstone after at home. Score first and beat them 2/3-0.

Jack Torrance
These guys know. Looking forward to seeing Penrice and Spittal up against them. I remember one of my dad's mates after a derby in the 80s, asking a young Hibs laddie in the street if he'd ever seen them beat Hearts. Ended up with tears and snotters everywhere. This wee guy knows already and he's not even been to a derby yet.
mr fox
They are garbage the hobos on hibs net are dreading this. We are on the up confident 3 points for me Beni Boateng will run the middle of park.
Horatio Caine
I hope the team doesn't just look on it as a stick on pumping the way some on here seem to be. We are way better btw but it is a Derby and sometimes they take a curious turn. So no complacency. We'll have to earn any victory.
Gorgie_Rules
Sounds like its another very soft hibs team mentally, with a rookie manager who doesn't have a clue - not a great recipe for a derby. Reckon this is the game Shankland gets his season started.

Penrices left boot
We created good chances v Aberdeen, and like Aberdeen hibs will attack and be a bit more open. If we can just cut put the brain farts, we will create, score and ultimately start moving uo the table. If we score first, we can really do them and control the game. Beni/ Boateng is a good combination, Spittal is effective and a goal threat, Shanks, although not scoring is linking the play well and Vargas/ Dhanda are a threat. We also have a string bench. I hope Oyegoke is fit tho, Forrester tries but he's a bit off the standard atm.
Armageddon
The tempo in our passing on Saturday should have them pulled all over the place. So……….. 0-0 😂
Opinionated Jambo
I think Hibs will make it a very scrappy game. One thing David Gray can't have is a derby defeat at home especially under the current pressure he is under. I suspect Hibs will play a low block, we will need to be patient and take our chances when we get them. That Hibs defence is horrendous again this season, there is goals there for us to score so hopefully they fall to the right players.

I nearly always have my tail wagging before a derby. It makes no material difference either way, so might as well embrace it! I read recently that fear and excitement prompt the same physiological response. Whenever you feel those nerves, just tell yourself "yaaaaaassss here we go!" and the world is yours. Psychology 101 over - those fkrs tried to take us out, we can never let up, ever.

tiger Rudi
I want to see the same starting 11 and formation as the one against St Mirren. To achieve that there may need to be some tweaks and mindful substitutions on Thursday. Just hope we have everybody fit and raring to go. The Hibs game is always massive, but even more so this time, considering Rangers play Aberdeen next week. One or both will drop points. A big performance on Thursday will set us up nicely.
