Tagawa did next to nothing too, apart from decent control from (yet another) hopeless punt up the park, only for us to do nothing with it. I think he was not helped by those around him, one bit for example he gets ball and knocks it back to Shankland in a good position who then makes the wrong decision. I think he does a lot more in the game then people realise but is not getting given the ball in the areas needed for a chance. Would like to see him get more time (I would think Shankland might need a rest, thought today he looked tired and considering how many minutes he has played its understandable. And you’re absolutely right about the wrong decision by Shankland, one of many wrong decisions he made today in his worst Hearts performance. If he'd controlled the ball and passed it across to Forrest when he won it off Souttar we'd have got back into the game. If he'd not got the ball stuck under his feet and fluffed another chance in the first half, we're level and winning the game. If he'd volleyed it rather than headed it into the side netting were level amd winning the game. If he'd actually looked up for his cutback he could've reached Oda or Shanks/Forrest properly than hitting it straight to a Rangers midfielder and killing another attack, If he'd not tried to go on a solo run and got himself easily tackled to let Rangers bear down on our disorganised defence for 2-0, we couldve got back into the game. If he'd marshalled and organised the defence better we wouldn't have conceded the second either Wait what? That was Rowles and Kent,Vargas, Shankland, Shankland, Vargas, Tait, Gordon&Kent&Rowles at fault for all of those moments?
