McCrae
7 hours ago, i8hibsh said: **** this rest players shite. When will we ****ing learn. Just like under Robbie when we wrote off the entire top 6 fixtures to get ready for the Rangers final. We ended up getting about 1 point from 15, sleep walked into Hampden to play a Ranegrs team that just played in a Europena final 72 hours earlier and every single one of their players looked fitter and more hungry and ultimately lost. All out to win tomrorow with best XI and let the semi look after itself. **** this shit boils my piss no end. I agree with the all out win mindset. Your recollections of the final are a bit off. We were struggling with injuries at the time and many of our players were struggling to make the game.

I don't rate Dexter at all, Atkinson isn't ideal either but he's better defensively. Dexter dropped a clanger vs St Mirren and was also at fault for the Watkins goal vs Killie. I'll give Dexter the benefit of the doubt because of the swirling wind maybe catching him out. Reckon he'll be a good player once he gains more experience. He's only 20 just now. Agree though, play Atkinson ahead of him

Aussie Jambo
An early goal then another 10 minutes later should put Meadowivingston confidence down enough that we score another 4 or 5. But in reality 1-0 tae the JTs.

Take your point about Shankland as he seems to play better when he is match fit and was poor at the start of the season before he got up to speed. absolutely no chance do we take it easy. We want momentum leading to the semi. Players like Ben and the Hoff will need some minutes today. until 3rd is mathematically secured we certainly don’t rest players etc.
Jim Panzee
If we aren’t 3-0 up after 15 minutes then if our Selkirk colleague hasn’t started a poll I’ll be very disappointed. also expecting to see a lot of this come the 81st minute when it’s still 0-0:
pettigrewsstylist
Be great to see a bit of swagger and some tempo to give a bit of confidence and belief for next weekend. A 6-1 Ross county style would suffice. 👍 In all seriousness tho, a stylish performance, with a ruthless touch in final 3rd, will sell tickets. Jambo dans les Pyrenees
Gordon Kingsley Kent Rowles Beni Forest. Hoff Cochrane Grant Vargas. Shanks Subs: Clark, Atkinson, Sibbick, Dexter, Devlin, Denholm, McKay, Oda, Tagawa. Fraser, Tait to miss out the squad. Eye on the semi final hence Gordon starting; would also like to see minutes for Devlin, McKay and Oda in particular. A rout for the JT’s today: 5-1 with Penrice scoring for Livi after a mazy 30 yard run beating 7 players so JKB get to blame Atkinson even though he won’t be on the pitch at the time. ToadKiller Dog
Livingston are likely in playing for pride mode as they will know they are done in terms of staying up ,which could be dangerous . If we play to what we are able We should have more than enough to win as ever would like to see us score more goals .
Daveandal
As long as it stays 0-0 Livingston will fight and scrape for everything. They will sit very deep and be organised. But as soon as we score I suspect the fight will go. The final score really all depends on when we get the goal. IMO. If Livingston were to somehow go 1-0 up they could end up playing 11 guys in their own penalty box.

Felt angry after the Huns final as we didn’t land one blow. Congrats to the 2019 final and the worst line up ever in a final and they only got back into it after some deliberate cheating and a nailed on ref who couldn’t wait to award his beloved team a penalty. Not sure if the refs have been announced for next week but I bet it’s Collum for the Saturday semi and Beaton will get the Sunday semi. I’d be gobsmacked if it’s the other way around.
