Gambo
Great save from Clark. Lembikisa was awful, truly awful. Forrest slowed play down and broke down our plays. Kent had a decent game but deary me what a poor header in lead up to their goal. Subs needed to be made earlier, I’d have replaced Lembikisa and Forrest after 55/60mins. If they could header a ball they would have won that game with ease. Our corners and free kicks are woeful.

Luckies1874
Kent played well and after Shankland is comfortably our player of the season. That said Kilie dominated us in our box and could easily have scored 2 or 3 goals from headers. Truth is they missed a couple of sitters. Jamb04life
Clark 8 - great save just before half time Kent 8 - considering he’d been out for a couple of weeks, it was like he’d never been away Kingsley 7 - did well Lembisikia 4 - gave Watkins far too much room for their goal. Poor game overall; also didn’t realise how he can’t throw it long until today Cochrane 5 - thought he was poor too. Just looks a yard off it. Always seems to give away fouls and he was a couple of inches away from conceding a penalty Beni 8 - competed well and looking more like his old self Grant 7 - started really well and drifted out of game. I find him so frustrating at times. Anybody playing as a 10 for Hearts should be scoring/getting assists Tait 7 - thought he did well against a physical team. Couple of stray passes but had the bravery to take the ball Shankland 6 - just didn’t go for him today. Slack passes and couldn’t get a sniff out the Killie centre backs which is why I’m guessing he dropped so deep Forrest 5 - couldn’t get the beating of his opponent Vargas 7 - looked dangerous but let down by final ball at times Rowles 4 - decent cameo at left back Mckay 3 - didn’t have much of the ball to make something happen but good to see him back Atkinson 3 - got forward we’ll Devlin 4 - thought he did well Oda 2 - not in it

I think Dexter is probably even worse on throw ins. Full backs take virtually all throw ins, and while having a good throw in doesn’t get a player a start, it’s an important part of the role. Certainly practice required

The Mercer Takeover
Clark - 8 - Outstanding Kent -8 - MoM. Didn't put a foot wrong Kingsley - 7 - Solid and dependable Lembikisa - 3 - Tired quickly and big mistake for their goal Cochrane - 6 - Needs to stop the heavy duty tackles. He is becoming a card liability Baningime- 7 - Excellent game Grant - 6 - Missed a couple of good chances Tait - 3 - Small, slow and lightweight against a very big Killie side. Got in the way of a number of our attacks. Not ready. Shankland - 7 - Did a lot of work Forrest - 6 - Not much came off for him today Vargas - 6 - Good goal, but needs to stop the diving Subs: Rowles - 5 - Strengthened defense McKay - 5 - Good to see him back.
