No Idle Talk Posted March 21 Share Posted March 21 POTY - Lawrence Shankland. It cannot be anybody else. Goal - Lawrence Shankland v St Mirren. Instinctive genius. Save - Zander Clark v the junkies. Penalty was well taken, it was just a great save. Moment - Hard not to vote for 90+3 but I went for beating Celtic twice. Was so sweet getting it right up them. Especially at Parkhead. The first time in our history we have beat them two league games on the bounce without conceding a goal. It deserves to win for that alone. It was a better goal than Devlin's, plus there was still the option of extra time v Rosenborg, whereas at Easter Road we were heading for the deep embarrassment of a draw. I went nuts 😂 Best save Clark v Hibs at Easter Road obviously. That game needs a mention considering Shankland got the winner but Clark kept us in it. Memorable moment V Rosenborg at Tynecastle. Loudest crowd noise if I remember right. Shankland got a great goal from a great assist by Kingsley. Devlin shocks everyone by getting two. That game might've set us up for the season for comebacks. It was painful not to give it to Forrest but the level of difficulty to pull down the ball from a GK and beat two defenders and finish on his left foot in the 92nd minute was just unreal. Clark vs. Rosenborg. Honestly surprised how many giving it to his Hibs save. He guessed right and got down and it was a fine save but it wasn't that great a penalty. The one versus Rosenborg is one of those I don't know how keepers do it. Puts his hand at exactly the right spot and deflects wide of any rebound. Comeback vs. Rosenborg.
