This should be the pant wetter thread.

No point in an over reaction about today. They are miles ahead of us and likely always will be.

No complaints from me today. Plenty individuals not good enough, Rangers were always going to out for blood.

it doesn’t make us a poor team, or our previous 12 games a fluke

Maybe if the team made Sevco work for the win then nobody would grumble. Poor show today and any criticism is deserved.

Yep. Shite day all round. Our first for three months.

No better game than to get back on the wagon than a Derby.

The best team in the league, who always raise their game against us, who needed to make a statement, in the title race, with their challengers also playing us in a week, while we probably will have had our minds on Wednesday as well.

We don't do well v the OF at the best of times but this was probably the worst time for any team to face an OF team this season. An absolute doing was coming for whoever got this fixture

Good forward thinking by Naismith.
Means they’ll be over confident when we get them in the cup final.

Doubt most of us expected to win although obviously expected a better performance.

Today showed we can't keep getting away with slow starts though.

I do agree we put it behind us.  I was really disappointed with the lack of fight, cohesion and putting any type of play together.

You move on but shouldn't dismiss these type of performances.

The Mercer Takeover

"Knee jerk"...

We just got absolutely pumped.

They deserve all the criticism they get.

A new RB was our priority in the window, so we sign a winger and start Crapkinson at Ibrox.

Sounds about right.

At least the players won't be too taxed for midweek

Any reason Rowles came off? Did he take a knock or tactical?

This, but the match thread was dripping full of pant wetters waiting for their moment to stick the boot in.

This place is poison when we don't win.

Rangers were good. Very good. Which meant we needed to be absolutely on it.

We were miles off it and slack play left us to get what was deserved.

Now we have to go again. The players need to react to this in the right way. Raise the levels and make a statement.

And look who's next :smuggy:

He was having a shocking game and we were switching to a 4 at the back so was the obvious choice to be hooked.

Not panicking after today. Theres enough trust built up in this team. Was a tough ask against a rampant rangers. They were beating anybody today. Unfortunately we were also under par pretty much all over the pitch.

We were always going to lose a match at some point. It's about how we bounce back. Not a bad match to do so on Wednesday.

Dunno about that but we've put ourselves under a lot of pressure for the Derby after that performance.

With Celtic to come and given what happened last year after our showing against Ramgers at home Wednesday is  massive.

That's it. When they are on it they are levels above us. Looks at what they strengthened in January with. A 4.5m midfielder, a striker that cost 35m and a winger that cost 4.5m.

Can't let it detract from how well we have been doing to get results up to this point. Hopefully this acts as a kick up the erse for Wednesday.

Bazzas right boot

In Glasgow this type of game will happen.

2 things you don't want to do-

Give away an early goal

Make daft mistakes.

We did.

After conceding in 2 minutes everyone knew what was going.to happen.

You have to start well and do the basics 100%.

To be honest, the team lineup was the exact team I would’ve wanted. Just one of those things

The "free-hit" mentality on here is all wrong.

Cuddles and kisses for the boys that chucked the game away today.

Well said, John.

We were very poor today, Rangers were not brilliant but did enough (all they needed to).

I hope the Vermin get the backlash on Wednesday.

The players were shite today but they’ve got us on track for one of our highest points totals in a very long time. A win on Wednesday would put this to bed

They had their best performance of the season. We turned in our worst.

Shit happens.

If we want to compete with the old firm, we need to get rid of Atkinson, and Devlin, they're nowhere near good enough.

Rowles can be kept as a squad player.

You know what? I'm actually with you here (in a way). If we're going to use this and the top 6 fixtures v the OF as tests for a potential final/semi final, and win, **** we'll all be saying he was a genius

We've won 11 of our last 13 games. Today was a bad day at the office at a notoriously difficult venue. 6 points left to play for this week, starting with 3 on Wednesday.

Before 3pm today. Clyde were bottom of the Scottish second division and 39 pts behind Stenhousemuir at the top.

They met at Ochilview this afternoon.

Fulltime result.

Stenhousemuir 1 Clyde 6.

As someone once said. It's a funny old game.

This is what i touched on earlier, over 90 minutes performances haven't been great, that was never going to cut it today.

Gers in town, pants turn brown. Been happening my entire life and will continue to happen. We should genuinely just forfeit all fixtures against them.
