Germany aren’t brilliant right now and the other two teams are round about our level. It’s all to play for. Would have preferred a playoff winner to Switzerland, but then again, Scotland don’t have a stellar record against teams we’re expected to beat. Although we’ve been more efficient recently. I wonder whether a few of the Scotland-qualified players who have been standoffish up to now might fancy themselves in that game in Munich.
